Wooded Sands is a spacious multi-level retreat that sleeps 14 across five bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, offering plenty of room for families or groups. The home features central air, ceiling fans, high-speed Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and multiple TVs, including a 50" smart TV and a Nintendo Wii. Guests can enjoy a wood-burning fireplace and outdoor firepit (please bring your own firewood), drivable private beach access just minutes away, and privacy with no neighbors in view. Conveniently located less than an hour from Grand Haven and Muskegon, this wooded oasis provides easy access to golf, fishing, and Michigan's beautiful lakes and trails.

Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fireplace: Bring your firewood! A wood burning fireplace is featured at this location.

Fire-pit: Bring your smores supplies and firewood, there is an outdoor firepit for guest use.

Fishing: White Lake is just 15 minutes (7.7 miles) from the property and is home to various fish! You can find Bluegill, Sunfish, Black Crappie, White Crappie, Rock Bass, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass.

Fishing License: A license is required to fish in Michigan.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

* Cross-Country Skiing & Snowshoeing (10-15 minutes): Explore trails at Montague County Park or Muskegon State Park.
* Ice Fishing (15-20 minutes): Ice fish on White Lake or nearby lakes like Muskegon Lake.
* Winter Hiking (15-20 minutes): Enjoy winter hikes at Muskegon State Park or Montague Township Trails.
