This family home has an amazing view, and the pool was wonderful. The location is convenient to Menton, but you’ll definitely need a car to get around.The home is very spacious with plenty of room for a large group, and the air conditioning in each bedroom worked very well. The outdoor space was wonderful. The owners were also very kind, responsive, and welcoming, and we appreciated them opening their home to guests. They even went through the trouble of bringing a crib over to us.That said, for the price we paid (approximately 5,000 USD for three nights), we expected the furnishings, bedding, and towels to be of a higher quality. The beds were made with only a sheet, and the pillows, linens and towels felt dated. Also, while the listing indicates there is a washer and dryer, there is only a washing machine, so you will need to hang clothes to dry (which was not an issue with how hot it was).Overall, the property has a lot of potential, and a few thoughtful updates (pillows, bedding, towels) and small touches (toiletries, pool toys) would make it feel like a much better value for the price.
