Beautiful location up in the hill but not far from Malia or Stalis. Comfortable beds, great staff, very covid safe, rooms lovely decorated and modern. Beautiful clean pool with plenty of sun beds, definitely recommended will stay again

Splendid
Stayed before and in these Covid times wanted somewhere familiar to call home for the week. As lovely and welcoming as we remembered it. Spotlessly clean rooms and outside areas. Stunning settings, just below the mountains, and a view down to the town and sea. Staff can't do enough for you, let us check out late, no fuss. 15 mins walk to old Malia and its great choice of restaurants. All the restaurants know of Mare Monte, so well established. Lying by the pool, trying to pick out the goats on the hillsides when you hear their bells clanging, idyllic. Will definitely return.

Everything was beautiful and very clean. The apartment, the pool the garden, the food, the manager and the staff are all fantastic!!! There were also some events with typical Crete’s food. Don’t missed....
