Everything was clean. Bed was very comfortable. The room had so much counter space for luggage, etc. staff was friendly. The pool and outside are was comfortable and encoring. We enjoyed sitting by the fire

The idea of this hotel is great but it needs some attention to the execution. Like the idea of the peg walls and that we can bring bikes in and get them washed and tuned up. The street noise on the back of the property was loud. Bed was comfortable. Bring your own toiletries - the shampoo, conditioner and body wash seemed to be watered down and not good quality and the body wash container was almost empty. Bring your own towels - The bath towels are very scratchy. There was not a bucket or anything to hold ice for the room and there was not a scoop in the ice machine - wondering how many dirty hands were in there scooping ice. It would be nice to have coffee also available for guests in the afternoon. Fire Pit area and hot tub was nice - met a lot of friendly travelers there. Nice area near the lobby for ping pong, and hanging out. Shopping area has last minute needs and a few other items but prices are expensive. Small food and beverage area is handy but again, $3.50 for a can of sparkling water? Pricey. Good location - short drive to Arches and downtown. Staff was friendly for the most part but a couple seemed tired or just did not want to be there.

My stay at Field Station Moab was, unfortunately, a major disappointment. The noise level was unbearable—constant disturbances from nearby rooms and outside made it impossible to relax or sleep properly. The lack of basic in-room amenities was equally frustrating. There were no tables for dining, so eating in the room felt like an afterthought. Not to mention, there wasn’t a microwave, coffee pot, or even a hot water maker, which made the stay feel bare-bones and inconvenient. Worst of all, the beds were uncomfortably short, leaving my legs to hang off the end all night. Overall, the lack of thought put into guest comfort made this a place I’d never recommend or return to.

Sand and No Service

If you like sand in your bed, sand on the floor, etc. this might be your place. The hotel caters to "outdoor adventurers" - but it should still be a hotel (clean at least.) Front desk service is a joke, they wanted my email to send a receipt, but still didn't send a receipt, no one was there in the morning for checkout until a guy who was working their coffee bar came over and said, "just put your key in the basket" - not exactly what I expect. There were no washcloths in the room, the refrigerator was one that is designed for travel, just strange in a hotel room. The bathroom was so small you had to contort to close the door. If I wanted a camping experience, I would go camping. All this for over $200 a night. If I had known what I was getting into, I would never have booked "the newest hotel in Moab."

Would rate a zero star if I could, do not recommend. On the second day of our two day stay our room reeked of sewer. We asked the front desk and they said this is common and there is nothing they could do besides switching rooms. They know this is an issue and do not care. We even asked them for some cleaner spray smell masking items, but they just claimed they didn’t have any. The next day when we checked out we saw them spraying the entire halls with cleaner spray to mask the smell. Also, looks like there is black mold in our bathroom. Definitely would not advise staying here if you can help it

Field Station is a different kind of hotel, offering all the basics with no frills. We loved it! The rooms were super clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. They cater to active adults and families and made great recommendations for hiking trails. The air conditioner was a little loud but you find that in many hotels. My husband and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

room has all the amenities all working properly except the AC fan in our room when on was noisy and may need adjustment or repair plenty of space in the reception area with a play room, reading space inside and relaxing area outside , a pool and spa outside that we did not try . a coffee bar with espresso and cappuccino and small snacks , a water bottle filling station , giving an upscale look to the front area
