What a nice surprise. I booked this off of Expedia not knowing what to expect. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms are massive and well appointed. The grounds were a little difficult for us, mostly because we have mobility issues. I really couldn't find a safe place to take my service dog out, because the ground was too uneven.

Friendly, clean, cheap, and cool!

Friendly staff at both check-in and check-out, great recommendations for local eats, a clean and comfortable room, all at a great price. This was just a quick sleepover after a long drive and before week of outdoors on wilderness adventures, so it was perfect for us. Love the logo and theme; y'all should sell teeshirts and such.

I just stayed here for the second time and plan to stay here every time I pass through Monticello needing a room for the night. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spotless and have been restored and maintained with pride of ownership. There are good restaurants within walking distance. There are also snacks and drinks available in a little cafe/store on the premises. I feel safe and comfortable here.

Fun vibe that keeps the motor inn alive

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Room was clean and their way of keeping the vibe of a motor inn from days of old alive was really fun. You can't beat the price! This is a great stop for a road trip.
