The house was perfect for three families to enjoy the beach. We walked to restaurants and used the golf cart to bounce to shopping, ice cream, and bars. The walk to the beach was short, which was awesome. The heated pool was nice when hanging at the house. The staff was extremely quick at responding and accommodated all of our needs.

The house had everything we needed for our group of 9 adults. When we looked for a basketball for the outdoor hoop and couldn't find one - they dropped one off promptly. The house is close to the beach, and the heated pool was a nice extra! The golf cart was handy to have for beach runs and local dinners out. we had a great stay at Blue Yonder!

We had a large group with several families. This was by far one of our best vacations because the house so amazing. Plenty of room and the outdoor areas were great. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and for everyone to enjoy dinner together. The place was spotless when we arrived. I highly recommend staying here especially with a large group. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect Bachelorette Trip

Our stay was phenomenal! We had plenty of space and everything we needed. There were tons of beach towels and a bunch of chairs to use at the beach. The pool was the perfect temperature. All of the beds were comfy. The location was great- walking or golf carting distance to a few places! We just wish check in before 5pm was an option without a fee. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Experience!

First Time on a family vacation and our experience was nothing but the Best experience. Everything we needed was there. The location was excellent, cause it was near the beach and shopping stores. If I ever come back, witch we are. I will choose the Blue yonder every time. It RECOMMENDED!!

Fabulous Fun and Fantastic

Our stay at Blue Yonder in Destin was fabulous. We enjoyed a helicopter ride, a nearby amusement park which was fun for all ages as well as all day fun at the private pool. There was more than enough room for our group of twenty-four. The place was immaculate and beautiful and including everything for a great barbecue at home and nice restaurants for dining out.

Spacious but room for improvement

The property was very spacious and accommodating for a large group. However issues with checkin process and swimming pool cleanliness leave room for improvement.

Blue house on the block

The week stay was way to short. However, that's the way it always is when you're enjoying your family. The home was as viewed and any questions or concerns that arose, were handled immediately. I can't say enough good things about this stay. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home.

This was our second time staying at blue yonder. We absolutely love it! We are so close to everything and it makes it so easy to get around. Destin dreamers are wonderful. They were so great at communicating with us and so incredibly helpful and sweet. Any issue or question we had, they were able to respond very quickly and get it handled. We definitely will be back and will use Destin dreamers again!

Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation! The property was located within walking distance of the beach, but the property came with a golf cart so we could drive there if we wanted. I loved having complimentary tickets to the different activities; parasailing is the best! Communication with the property manager was excellent and timely. There were a few hiccups along the way, but nothing that was not handled professionally and fast. All in all, great vacation and beautiful home. nnnnnnn

Great house and location.

The house was as described. Everything was very clean and nice. Only issue is the beds are springs so it’s loud for the baby when you move around. Still a 5 star experience. Be aware it’s totally bare, no salt, no pepper, oil etc like other houses. Keep that in mind for your shopping list. We had a dryer issue and couldn’t find the golf cart key. Both were fixed promptly and without issue. Would definitely stay again.

An amazing time at Blue Yonder

Planned a trip with a college friend and our families. Blue Yonder seemed to be a good fit with the bedroom layout, amenities and location. We were absolutely blown away by how perfect this layout was. The bedroom and bathroom locations were perfect for the adults as well as the kids/teens. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The golf cart was great to have as well. I would love to take that house and place it at every beach we vacation at. Also, communication with the host was great and very easy. We simply texted back and forth with any questions or needs. Would highly recommend.

Great house for our large group

Blue Yonder is a beautiful house in a beautiful location and perfect for a larger group! Our group consisted of 5 families (15 kids) for a total of 24 people. The size of the house was great for the various groups to mingle and hang out in multiple locations: the living room, kitchen, game room, balconies, the pool or playing in the side yard. And there was plenty of space for everyone to find a quiet spot when needed, which was nice. The amenities in this house were also great! Pool (that can be heated for a fee if needed), chairs and toys for the beach, plenty of outdoor seating, grills, outdoor TV, one regular fridge and 2 smaller ones on each floor, all the coffee makers, pool table, wall gaming console, washer/dryer, plenty of towels, a golf cart, access to a large community pool, and more! The walk to the beach is only 3 blocks away and was never an issue for our group. I highly recommend this location and Destin Dreamers!

This house was great for our family of 16. Kitchen, dining and living areas were very spacious. Pool and game area were enjoyed by all. Outdoor TV, very nice. Our stay was in late October so at that point things tend to get a little worn around the pool area. Sand toys and recreation items were a little banged up. Beach chairs were in good shape, but umbrellas were ready to be retired. The golf cart was very important to us as we liked to set up at the Pompano Joes area on the beach. The cart was fine but probably needs retired as it had very little zip. For a house that could accommodate 26, we did not have silverware for 16 - otherwise, the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Washer and dryer were very good and the beach towels were very nice to have. We usually stay closer to the beach and this house was not super walkable to the beach, but with an extra golf cart that slight negative would be no issue at all. This property was very well managed and we had lots of prompt communication, but I’d have to say I’ve never had so many forms to fill out and documents to provide. The legal department has Destin Dreamers well protected! (Which is smart business) Blue Yonder is a great house and we had a great time.

The house was very nice - well decorated, clean, with a good floor plan. The rental company is very responsive to texts 24/7. My small suggestions for improvement relate to a) the kitchen and b) the cheap essentials the house is stocked with. The kitchen is stocked relatively sparsely for cooking dishes and could use a nice stainless steel frying pan - it's nearly impossible for renters to damage a stainless pan. Instead there are a couple of pans that used to be nonstick a few years ago and are now very sticky pans regardless of how much oil you use - and the hopefully not carcinogenic previously non-stick coating comes off in the food. And the kitchen could use a few more bowls - there are more plates, glasses, etc than bowls - which we constantly washed. And the cheap essentials - for one week we got four trash bags in the kitchen, two dish washer pods, exactly one roll of TP in each bathroom, no laundry detergent, etc. I understand it's not unlimited supplies, but these are cheap items in an expensive house rental - it'd be nice to get seven trash bags, seven dishwasher pods, and an extra 8 pack of TP. Everyone who rents has to buy all of the basic items and many probably leave extras behind as well as salt and pepper in the kitchen, etc - but all of these items are clearly all removed between renters - which seems very wasteful.

Beautiful Property!

This house was the perfect place to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. It was beautiful, clean, spacious, and a short walk to the beach. The only issues we had were with the built-in ice machine in the kitchen, it had no power and wasn't working. Maintenance came but couldn't fix it. They brought us a small ice machine to help, in addition to bags of ice. The TV on the back patio didn't work. Maintenance brought a new one so we could watch our football games by the pool. The gate on the fence wouldn't latch, which we needed as we had our dog. Maintenance also fixed this for us. Chase was our maintenance tech and he was WONDERFUL!! So professional! The only thing I can suggest is to do pre-inspections on all main equipment that will be utilized. Thanks again everyone!

This is our 5th year renting a large home in Destin for an extended family vacation but our first time with Destin Dreamers. Working with Destin Dreamers was amazing! All questions, emails and phone calls were all answered promptly and everyone we spoke to was extremely nice and helpful. The property, Blue Yonder, is a beautiful home in a great location. An easy walk to the beach, Bad Ass Coffee, Alvin's Island and so much more. The house was very clean upon arrival. Check in and check out were very easy. We had a problem with the air conditioning on our 3rd day there due to a transforming that blew a few blocks away. We were able to troubleshoot over the phone until a repair man was able to come and fix the problem. Overall, a very nice home but we do have some suggestions... 1. The couches on the 1st floor look nice but are very worn and very uncomfortable. The cushions sink and slant forward when sitting on them. 2. Mixed reviews on the mattresses. About half of our group thought they were too soft but obviously that is personal preference. No complaints from the kids on the bunks. 3. TERRIBLE water pressure in all the showers. Difficult to rinse shampoo out of hair and soap off your body. The pressure was that low!! 4. The quality of the kitchen accessories (cutlery, pots and pans, utensils, etc...) was very poor/cheap. Definitely need to upgrade. Thank you for hosting us! All in all a great vacation. Destin again did not disappoint and we will be returning in the future.
