Pros: Loved the house layout, the location, convenient with just golf cart ride away from most everything, nice view, large rooms, comfortable beds. Nice golf cart. Supplied bath towels and linens. Kitchen supplies sparce, but made it work. Toaster was broken. Emailed host, new one delivered within hours. Enjoyed our 3 weeks here, but there are things that really needed, and still needs to be taken care of. Cons: Not used to having to go through the additional complicated and frustrating application system required by third party My Vacation Haven. This never happened with any of the many other VRBO rentals we did. Arrived to find back yard full of piles of dog poop. Not happy to pick up and dispose of the stinky mess from last renter. This should have been taken care of during inspection by housekeeping. Outside patio table not as pictured. Table had peeling metal large rust holes on it, one chair was broken and rusted through. Fridge did not keep cool enough, bottom support broken out, water/ice in door did not operate, and ice maker did not work at all. We ended up using plastic ice cube trays. Scotch tape on ice/water door unit to keep from falling out? If you stay here during the warmer days, be aware that the add on office connected to back bedroom is not insulated and has air gaps. Even with the drape across and all the window shades down, just could not keep the bedroom cool. Suggest front bedroom with better bathroom as first choice.
