Great spot for a quick visit

Lovely little place. The lakefront area is particularly charming. The house is listed as 1800 sq ft, although this seems very generous unless the unfinished basement is included in the tally. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Lakefront Getaway

My husband and I had a great time at the lakefront house in Mound. The property manager was very nice and showed us around and told us about some local spots to eat/drink and some local attractions as well. We enjoyed the kayaks that were on site. Would definitely stay here again!

The view waking up from your bedroom is amazing. This cabin is cute and compact. Too chilly during our stay to enjoy the kayaks. Great location between the 2 spots we were traveling to.

The location wasn't bad. It was quiet by the water. The water amenities were nice. The place needed a little more cleaning and there is an old house odor. It was in a good location if you want to be around a small town environment. The price is a little high for the size of the house. It worked for us as a girl weekend getaway.

The only bathroom is in the master bedroom.

Beware - you have to go through the master bedroom to reach the only shared bathroom, which is TINY. Not suitable for more than one couple and maybe a young child. Houae is much smaller than. appears in pictures quality

Beautiful location but…

The lake and outside property were fantastic. Gorgeous place to watch the sun set or have a bonfire. There’s a great restaurant within walking distance. Unfortunately we were not impressed with the house. It wasn’t up to our standards of cleanliness and smelled very strongly of smoke. The owner was kind, very communicative, and helpful but ultimately we had to check out early due to the smell and lack of internet access.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

We were really surprised that this cute, recently updated cottage is so well located in Mound, with peaceful Langdon Lake in the back yard and Lake Minnetonka basically across the street! My husband enjoyed his evenings on the backyard dock as the sun set over the far shore. We all enjoyed the easy access to Lake Minnetonka, great restaurants, fun lakeside eateries, and nature preserves, even getting to Minneapolis was relatively easy. Troy greeted us the moment we pulled in and gave us a thorough tour of the property. He had kayaks and even bikes to use and was very responsive with any questions we had. 100% would come back again!
