Very relaxing and cozy!

We booked this home for our once a year reunion with my husband's sister and brother and their spouses. The home was just as advertised! We enjoyed the outside decks and cooked wonderful meals in the fully stocked kitchen. The beds were very, very comfortable! We explored local areas and visited a wonderful antique store and brought home some real finds. I would highly recommend this home!

Great Stay at location near Lake Lure

Property was great for our needs for a week to check out the surrounding area. Really close to Columbus, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock and not too far from Asheville for a daytrip. Appliances and amenities were great!

We stay in approximately 20 VRBO’s a year. This cabin is the best, extremely clean, well stocked with amenities, hosts are fantastic and view is amazing. Very convenient to Tryon horse shows. I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect get away

This cabin was the perfect getaway for my family. We were close to hiking trails and some beautiful waterfalls. We also enjoyed fishing off the dock and relaxing on the porch. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin!

We had an extended weekend with family at Stokes Cabin and we could not have been happier with the house! Fantastic communication by the host along with detailed check-in, check-out, and general property information made things very easy as a guest. The property was clean - from the sparkling white sheets on each bed to the spotless appliances and the fully stocked kitchen - everything was in perfect shape. The kayaks were a hit and the location of the cabin is just perfect. Chimney Rock was about 30 minutes away, and SkyTop Apple Orchard was about 40 minutes away. A nice bonus was having TV streaming service on the TVs. The downstairs living area was a plus when the family wanted to split up. This may be the overall best VRBO rental we have stayed in! We are already making plans to return next year :)

Great for peaceful getaway!

House is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood on Lake Adger. Hosts have done a great job on all the little details: K-cups and creamers for coffee, skewers for roasting marshmallows, etc. House was clean and everything a guest would need.

Absolutely Wonderful

Every single thing about the cabin was amazing, the location was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable. It felt like home away from home. we had an issue with the ac heating and Claire was very responsive and solved the issue by the next morning. It was a wonderful stay!

Amazing Find in the Mountains

We absolutely loved our stay here. One of the cleanest properties we've stayed at and had so much space to spread out. We especially enjoyed being able to feed the birds and squirrels and watching them throughout the days. Would like to have one more comfy chair for the living room, since we had 6 family members, but we made it work. Wonderful stay and would love to return. Beautiful views!

Well stocked and well kept lake cabin

Two of my friends and I stayed at this property for a week and enjoyed our stay. The house and its amenities were true to the listing in every way and the house was well-stocked. The owners communicated well and ensured they did whatever they could to make our stay as good as it could be. We enjoyed using their watercraft on the lake and had an overall great experience.

Such a wonderful place

This cabin was so clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. We arrived Thursday and spent hours on the lake either on paddle boards or in the kayak. The home is very well taken care of and located in a very quaint area of Lake Adger. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. This is such a great rental.

First Class. Needs better lighting (reading and kitchen). Minor complaint as we really enjoyed our 5 day Xmas stay. 3 or us, plus two more for some meals. Bet fishing would .be fun. Local Property Mgr was especially helpful.
