The room was clean and had a wonderful outlook. Only thing is the bathroom and toilet are a bit tired and there was no door on the bathroom section where you get dried and dressed. Otherwise very good. Food was great at the bistro as well.

quiet and peaceful property, nice room, bed squeaked just sitting or turning. Aircon only turned on from wall switch, the remote didn't work. Lady at front counter not friendly and while I was trying to check in, a male staff member interupted and got her to do a golf booking - leaving me standing - waiting. She didn't explain why she needed my credit card details or how she stored them, even though I'd paid in full when I booked - just that it was part of the booking process and she needed them. In fact, she was a little rude and abrupt - oh, and by the way, her explanation suggested there was no encryption of my card details and she did say that only staff could access it - ok, that is not re-assuring. Info says office is open til 6pm. it closes at 5 and no help after that. I believe the swimming pool doesn't meet code. Steps are very high and not even and no handrail on the stairs. I had to use a chair to help me get in and a chair and assistance to get out - or I'd still be there. And 3 coffee sachets and 3 sugar sachets are not enough for a 4 night stay - for 2 people, especially when the rooms are only serviced upon request.

Some not good/Some Good

This time, we stayed in a Family Room (2 Br, 1 BTH) as there were 4 of us on the drive home, an unavoidable upgrade from the standard rooms. The room was comfortable and spacious. The stay for again only for an overnighter. The reception and Golf Club Bistro staff are always charming and welcoming. You couldn't find more genuine people. Unfortunately, the bathroom and shower were not clean, as there were clumps of grass on both floors. When we arrived at almost 5 P.m. on a Wednesday, it seemed as though someone had gone around and played whack a bug throughout the rooms, as there were squished flies, mosquitoes, and other bugs on the curtains, sheer curtains, and walls. Now, this property is on a golf course, so bugs—flies, spiders, and Mosquitoes—are an unavoidable yet manageable problem! However, I don't wish to be faced with someone else's excitement when squishing insects all over a hotel room. It is not what I expect when I pay for accommodation. This is unacceptable, as are the dirty bathroom floors. The motel supplies some bug spray in the room. The quality of that spray, though, is questionable. It's best to take your own and a bug zapper. I have mentioned this in a previous review. These two things were the only issues. The rest of the stay was issue-free. We had dinner at the Golf Club's Bistro, which was great. We mixed with some locals, participated in the Putting game, and spent a lot of money on the CLAW chocolate machine. We had a great night.

Nice accommodation around golf course. Very roomy with spare bed and with essentials provided: iron, kettle, hair dryer, microwave, etc. Thinking about booking it again this Easter.

Fair for an over nighter.

This stay is as an over night on a much longer road trip. It’s the second time I have stayed here. The rooms are a basic motel style accommodation. It is very handy having the Golf club bistro on site, but it does not operate on Monday and Tuesdays. I strongly suggest mosquitoes spray, bug spray and a bug zapper for your room.
