Just steps from Wallace Cove, this cozy retreat offers the perfect blend of seclusion and adventure. You're only 10 minutes from puffin and lighthouse boat tours, Milbridge’s charming eateries and historic movie theater, and scenic spots along the rugged coast. It's also just a 1-hour drive to Bar Harbor and the main entrance to Acadia National Park, or 45 minutes to the quieter Schoodic Peninsula and Winter Harbor side of the park. Whether you're hiking, sightseeing, or relaxing by the fire pit, this home is your launchpad for experiencing Maine's spectacular Down East coast.

This was our first trip to Maine and we had a great time staying here at this charming cottage. The host was very responsive and all amenities were as advertised. The location is great, being nestled along the back part of the bay where we could watch the fisherman work and wake up to deer and bird songs every morning. We even got to see a baby fox and porcupine in the neighborhood. Travel to nearby Acadia and Schoodic is not far. Our top pick for places to visit would be Quoody Head State Park and lighthouse. We made the early morning sunrise trip and were treated to some amazing sights and sounds. The scenery there is stunning! Don’t get me wrong, Acadia is nice, just too many people during the Summer when we all come to see it. Overall a great first trip to Maine and we would definitely stay at this cottage again. Thank you Nate for your Downeast hospitality.
