The hotel location is slightly misleading. It is set back from the street, through a courtyard. My room then looked out of the back of this courtyard, overlooking a public two-storey garage - a dreadful and slightly noisy view. The hotel area is good, however, to access Milan centre either on foot or via the M1 subway. It is good for going to the San Siro as well.
