The shuttle was a life saver! The front desk arranged a 0500 pick up for us the night before. Shuttle was on time and got us to the airport ahead of time.

I found large flying bugs in my bed shortly after checking in. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable. When we tried calling the front desk, no one answered, and no one reached out to address it afterward. We weren’t offered anything to fix the situation or even an apology. I would not stay here again.

Not the standard you’d expect from a crown plaza

The hotel is tired and dated and not worth the £150 we paid for a single night. The shower in our premium room was broken. My wife fell when she got out the cold shower and hit her head on the floor.. the ice machine had failed, we had to get a room master key as the door key wouldn’t work, for a crown plaza this was disappointing. Breakfast choice was good but food quality lacked… overall I think the holiday inn express which was cheaper may have been a better option. Staff were friendly, but that was the most positive thing. I won’t use this hotel again and may avoid crown plaza in the future.

It could have been better ! Dear IHG Team, I wanted to share a few thoughts about my recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Malpensa Airport. Overall, it was an average experience, but a few things fell short of what I usually expect from an IHG property. The hotel itself feels quite dated and could use some refurbishment. My room was spacious, but the bathroom really needs attention — it looked old and not as clean as it should be, especially the shower area, which had visible dirt in the corners. The shower cabin also felt quite small. I was surprised to find that basic items like slippers and toiletries weren’t in the room and had to be requested from reception. That’s not typical for a Crowne Plaza, in my experience. Noise was also an issue. Despite being described as soundproof, my room faced the runway and a nearby helicopter area, so it was quite loud. Unfortunately, I couldn’t change rooms as the hotel was full. On a positive note, the restaurant was excellent — great food, a calm atmosphere, and very polite staff. Breakfast was also a pleasant experience. I really appreciate the efforts of the team, but I think with some updates and better room maintenance, the hotel could easily meet the usual Crowne Plaza standards again.

The staff was great, the breakfast was great. Key cards malfunctioned constantly, Ac did not work. The ice machine on our floor did not work. Needs a little TLC. The check in and shuttle arrangements are misleading in the Expedia listing and that caused us some expenses. A little expensive.

Quite a reasonable and affordable option at Milan Malpensa. Shuttle information at hotel website seems to suggest calling the hotel, but the shuttle is on a regular route and timetable about every 30 minutes. As in many airport hotels, there is a bit of corridor noise.
