This stay was for a weekend trip for my daughter and I. Although the hotel was under construction, we overlooked it. The comfort and cleanliness of our room plus the friendly staff made up for it. Will stay again.

To call this property hotel, is incredibly charitable .a sign 2/12x2/12’ with the letters AI is all that hangs outside. A few minutes passed till finally the “receptionist” buzzed us open. An elevator from the early 20th century took us to the third floor , which is the hotel in this very old residential building. Room very small but clean and neat. However, it took but minutes to find a water leak in the bathroom, which necessitated moving us to another , smaller room. When I asked for some compensation , I was told that I ordered a standard room and that the leaky room was actually an upgrade. The area around the hotel was repeatedly noted by the taxi and Uber drivers as very unsafe. The “Free Breakfast” was at a small restaurant OUTSIDE the hotel some 50 or so yards away( nothing stated on the booking page) and consisted of coffee, pastry and glass of orange juice . No receptionist at night. Stating that the property is over priced at cost of 204 euros per night is a monumental understatement .

It is a b & b business with no one at the facility, we canceled Airbnb bookings to switch with the hope that a staff will meet us late at night, but it was stressful experience to say the least to have no staff on the ground. There was no indication on the listing that the hotel is remote operated, very disappointed on that regard.

It was hard to find. No visible entrance… awning with the name, etc. It was all locked up. Our taxi driver had to use his cellphone to call in, my cell wasn’t getting internet access. Otherwise, once we got in, it was fine😊

Beautiful host who looked after us and prepared for an earlier check in as we arrived earlier than expected! Walkable to the trains station. Not much to see close to the place but if you enjoy walking around the city is not too far. Great for train day trips to Venice, Como and Verona!
