Beautiful home we stayed at for the weekend and very spacious for our family. Plenty of things around the home, beautiful views of the lake. The only issue we had while staying @ the home was the smell of the towels was a bit musty, stale smell and the home Not of a foul odor just musty. So we went and got some candles and air fresheners to freshen up the home. We do understand the homes aren’t always being used so the air isn’t going to be circulating well throughout the house until the arrival of guests. Other than that it was a great stay for the weekend.

Family Getaway- Fun and Quietness

This home felt very fitting to the area. Easy drive to some activities. Loved the quietness and serenity of the porch and listening to nature. Some great places to eat within a reasonable driving distance.

Great family house

This house was fantastic for our family! Large living area and lots of bedrooms. The decor is fabulous. I didn’t want a house that looked like a hotel and this house delivered the best Florida/river/vacation vibes! The kids room was adorable and our 2 littles loved having their very own room. The weather was unfortunately rainy and chilly. So we were unable to use the porch or the firepit . we tried to fish but no luck. We did not cook here but the kitchen is very well stocked. We created great family memories in this lovely home!

Great property, but needs a deep clean!

This rental was just what our family needed for a week visiting family nearby. It had enough room, a game room, and large kitchen/living room. The one complaint we had was that it does need a bit of a deep clean - some comforters, kitchen towels, multiple rugs, and even some outdoor furniture was all stained when we arrived. Windows and baseboards and such are all filthy. The main surfaces and linens all seem to have a basic clean but it needs more - it was dirty in a lot of places.

Cozy Relaxation

The description of this property is accurate. My family stayed for two weeks to visit family and the house was clean, stylish, and the location is convenient, providing seclusion and yet access to the city and local attractions. My family would definitely stay again. Sue is very responsive and even reached out to check on us when a storm passed through the area. We already miss sitting on the porch watching the creek!

Middleburg trip

The property was fine. However the dock area which was one of the main features that I looked for, was not a floating dock for the most part and was submerged half of the time. Also the dock still contained the pontoon and jet ski, which interfered with our enjoyment of the dock. I guess the ad didn't say they would be removed, but at the price of the rental I had assumed that we were renting the entire dock area. Sadly this was not the case. All in all a good trip though.

Ultimately, a great stay.

This property is beautiful, inside & out! The home was very clean, decorated beautifully, & stocked with all of the essentials. We had a disappointing experience initially. Sue was extremely pleasant, helpful, and accommodating in all of our communications. When we arrived, there was a STRONG smell of natural gas inside & outside of the home. Upon entering, it was noticed that one of the burners on the gas stove was left on. We turned off the burner, exited the home, & called Sue. She offered to send the Bart to check things out. When he arrived, he seemed immediately annoyed an frustrated with us. He told us that the smell was the well water, not natural gas. He went on the state that there is a CO detector right next to the stove, which would have gone off if there was a gas leak. My husband explained that the detector would not alarm for natural gas since CO is a byproduct of burning fuel. Bart's tone & body language expressed more frustration, as he stated that he was in the home for 45 minutes approximately 16 hours before we "supposedly" tried to check in. We were not happy with the insinuation of dishonesty on our part. Our late arrival was due to flight cancellations & delays. It was already a long day & his lack of concern for our safety was the icing on the cake. We allowed the home to air out for hours. The smell dissipated & never returned with the burner turned off. Even the well water smelled fine. Sue should conduct customer service matters.

Great Place!

The house is exactly as pictured and described - very clean, super cute décor, great views, and ample space to hang out. The bedrooms are all well appointed (I heard, "That bed is way more comfortable than it looks!" and "I slept great!" from a couple family members). This is a great location too! It feels like you are far away from any town, deep in the woods with a lovely river view, but are only really a couple minutes from everything. While the supplies and kitchen appliances were more than adequate for staying in and cooking every meal, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Communication with the owner was great - very timely responses to any questions I had. I highly recommend staying here! :)
