We came from a family event in Acapulco, and had an overnight stay in the City before flying back to DFW. As a child I spent a lot of time in the city w/my aunts and cousins. It's been way too long. We certainly enjoyed the old historic district and the Day of the Dead celebrations. The restaurant on the same block - left out the front door was excellent. We'll be back.

The property is excellent, the staff was great and were very polite. We had several issues with the Host of the Restaurant Balcon del Zocalo. Stepahine was very rude. I complined to the Consierge (Videre??) and she was very helpful and fixed everything. Or so we though. Stephanie managed upset my wife and friends. She gave us a very small table and mentioned that we eould be very uncomfortable, that we could maybe fit 5 peoble but not 6. This was very embarrassing since she lashed out in front of everyone. We were there for our anniverssary dinner and she ruined it!. We had a written confirmation for a party of 6. She did not care and did not follow the consierges instructions for our reservation. Our friend went to the front desk and complained about Stephanie for a third time (even the Consierge could not beleieve it). The consierge helped abd saved the day. We went back up they accomodated us in a very nice. We honestly could not understand how this hotel with this amazing staff could have someone like Stephanie make us fell terrible, not once but three different times. She was disrespectful, loud and very rude. I could not find the hotel Manager but made sure to stop at the consierge and asked fo the hotel Manager to be aware of the situation. This was truly the only thing that went TERRIBLY WRONG. Stepanie is the reason I am giving the lowest rating on the staff.

Excellent experience front desk the best specially Karina and Zindy Karina knew that we were celebrating our wed anniversary made sure our room was decorated for the occasion and previously we Han hired a private chofer who would move us around the city but unexpectedly canceled at the last minute and Zindy in question of minutes arranged a person of their trust to pick us up and can’t leave behind Noemi she made sue our room was nice and clean , every single person in the hotel recieved us with a smile the only thing I would change would be the service in the mornings in the restaurant there was always something missing or never brought us everyday

We stayed for only 1 night. The hotel is right in the centre on the Histórico area and is a good location if it’s your first time to the city. The hotel is really nice. We booked just a standard room. It was a good size and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a late night flight and the staff allowed us to use the shower facilities in the Gym to freshen up. I would highly recommend this hotel.

El hotel es muy bonito, limpio y elegante . Está incluido el desayuno y tiene una cafetería con un menú casual para comer que me ayudo cuando llegue tarde al hotel . La sala para desayunar queda en el último piso donde tiene una vista increíble de la ciudad de México y la comida excelente , me encantó la variedad del pan y riquísimos. También un frigider con botellas de agua en el pasillo a tu necesidad. La gente muy amable y servicial. El hotel es muy céntrico y conveniente para que te recojan para loe tours. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Karina was by far the best part of the stay. Very sweet and attentive front desk girl— we loved her and she made us excited to go downstairs. The cafe was great! Daniela and Michelle were so kind and offered great service. The entire staff indoors was great. The door people were usually less than inviting and spent most of their time gossiping about the guests in Spanish. They assumed I couldn’t understand them and would openly speak poorly of me behind my back. When confronted they would just smile and act like that wasn’t the case. A few good ones but most would just gossip up front. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. The food was great. The air conditioning in the rooms isn’t the best and it definitely got warm in there but we made it work.
