The unit was not ready at the stated check in time 3pm. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes to have access to the unit. But overall the rooms were clean and the property was safe. The area was walkable and had stores within walking distance.

The only thing that I didn't like in the property was the gym. Pretty much all the equipment is broken or malfunctioning. The floor was extremely dirty too. That area requires an urgente update. It doesn't match the rest of the facilities, which are well mantained.

Great to stay for a week or more.

It was a nice surprise to see a washer and drier as I had a lot of sweaty clothes I was able to clean before I left. Having the kitchen and fridge was nice. The cable only had Spanish channels. It is one of the nicer parts of town. A walk to the chapel park and museum and zoo.

I had a great stay at Hotel Lamartine 619. The property felt secure with easy access, which made things super convenient. The innkeepers were absolutely amazing—super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, but they mentioned they’re working on installing some soon. Overall, a really positive experience!”

On the first day at the property, the master bathroom sink backed up. There was mold around the porcelain sinks in both bathroom as they sit on the vanity. The bathroom sink being backed up could not have been a new issue. If the cleaning crew had done proper cleaning, this would have been identified. Maintenance came by and unclogged it, but a few minutes later when I turned on the faucet, water started dripping from the sides of the sink and onto the floor. It would require 90 minutes to 2 hours the next morning to fix it. We opted not to fix it because it would cause bad odor due to the silicon that would be use. Three days later, without any prior notice, they started working on the property, drilling, hammering, etc. Come to find out that they were installing air conditioning units. A note was posted in the elevator stating that work will begin on the installation of air conditioning on April 21, but the actual work started on April 16. I took a picture of the notice in the elevator. Through all of this, the property only thanked me for my feedback and did nothing more. No refund of any sort and didn't make any attempt to apologize. The place looks great in pictures, but the quality of the actual unit, as well as the construction is quite poor. It feels like it's going to fall apart.

Lovely unit, clean and spacious. Both bedrooms had full ensuite bathroom. Security guards and cleaning staff were excellent. Walkable to Museum of Anthropology and many Polanco restaurants.

We stayed at the Lamartine for 5 nights. It's located within walking distance to both the Chapultepec park and good dining on Masaryk. For the price, the location and the amount of space you get (we had the 2 bedroom) it's hard to beat.
