I would not stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. There were mosquitoes in the lobby, and I ended up getting a fever from the bites. The pool was “under maintenance” during my entire four-day stay, which was very disappointing. I also visited the spa and asked the staff for assistance with the steam room. They turned it on for just 10 minutes, and when I politely asked if they could extend the time, they seemed annoyed and only kept it on for five more minutes. The worst part, however, was when rainwater leaked through the ceiling and flooded our bathroom. When we requested a room change, the staff took an unreasonably long time to respond, even after I explained that I was with my elderly mother and she was exhausted. When I went down to follow up, I found the staff casually chatting and clearly not prioritizing our issue. Overall, I felt completely neglected as a guest. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I will absolutely not be returning to this hotel.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Barcelo Reforma. Their customer service and facilities were exceptional. Breakfast buffet is excellent, it offers many options for everyone. The transportation services (w/a fee) were a big plus, it added peace of mind making us feel safe and in good hands while traveling with small children and visiting places around the city. Highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely stay at Barcelo next time we visit Mexico city.

The hotel was absolutely incredible. The staff was very friendly and greeted us with a smile at all times. We were especially impressed by Raúl from the lobby bar, and Ricardo from La Fontana breakfast buffet. These gentlemen were exceptional in their service and hospitality and added a great touch to the hotel. We purchased the Premium Superior Level room, which included many amenities. The only drawback we experienced was the lack of an all-inclusive concierge service. We would have appreciated assistance with restaurant reservations and event tickets in the city during our stay. This service is very common at most luxury hotels.
