I would stay here again. The area is quiet at night and I slept well. The mattress is quite firm but comfortable with good pillows. The temperature was fine as it was October. The wifi worked well in my room. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The area is lovely to walk around with lots of Michelin rated restaurants and close to the metro. I was able to leave my bags after I checked out while I went to the museum.

Perfectly adequate accommodations in a fantastic neighbourhood. 4th floor without a working elevator wasn't ideal. No frills, but clean enough and quiet enough. We spent most of our time out anyway.

Hotel Embassy is in a cute area, surrounded by charming bars/cafes and plenty of taquerias. The staff are nice and pleasant. But there is a reason this place is cheap. During my stay, the elevator stopped working and I witnessed people with heavy luggage carry it up multiple flights. As for my room, it was stained and bug-infested (ants crawling out of the shower drain, roaches and an occasional spider swinging from towels). The water also smelled foul. I'm addition to this, I thought it was strange that my roommate and I were only given 1 key between us. Also,they have an iron which you can borrow but with no ironing board. So you're ironing things on your bed. Also, no microwave or fridge offered. If possible,opt for another nearby hotel.
