I would say, that overall for the price, the hotel is excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and spacious, location is near public transport, safe, four blocks away from the Zocalo. The bathroom was clean, the shower, encased in tempered glass, leaked some water under the sink though. The restaurant, although not fancy was clean and spacious. The food was excellent and super affordable (cheap in pesos but not in quality). The only downside to it all was the wifi speed. It varied from great, when guests were out (daytime) to terrible, during nightime. I would not place the blame entirely on the hotel, lots of people watching Netflix or YouTube using the hotel's bandwith does have an effect on its speed. Overall I would recommend this place. It is an affordable, serviceable, clean hotel. One recommendation though, ASK staff for a map of the historic center and make them mark the shady areas so you will stay out of them. Pickpockets do roam the streets, as in most big cities, but some areas are more dangerous than others.

This place was nice for the price. Clean with good service. There are fans available at the desk and we should have asked for one because it got pretty stuffy.

Fine hotel, excellent location!

This is a very nice hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The staff are nice. I wish they had screens on the windows. The best part is that it's a short walk to the Cathedral/Zocalo and close by Metro stops.
