We absolutely loved Historico Central hotel! The staff was great, the food fabulous, and the room was comfortable and quiet. We did not like the all the "protestors" however who camped in tents the whole time we were in the historic district. We couldn't see past the tents to view the buildings on a tour. The tents and their filth filled the whole public square and many of the streets leading there. Apparently this isn't uncommon in Mexico City. It really made our visit unpleasant as we had trouble getting to Metropolitan Cathedral, seeing the National Palace, and going to most restaurants in the area. I highly recommend the hotel but don't necessarily recommend visiting Mexico City as long as they allow public camping.

The hotel is in a great location and quite charming. Staff is very polite and responsive. Cleaning is excellent, the complimentary toiletries are a nice touch, the bedding and towels are good quality. The complimentary breakfast, all day snacks, coffee and food is good quality and variety, and of quite a savings value when added over several days. The lighting in the room could be better. Overall, we were very impressed with our stay and would happily stay with them again.

We had an amazing time in Mexico City and at this hotel. It was very central and walking distance to many places. The staff was friendly and every accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and Robert our waiter was great! We did have one incident with the cleaning staff moving out personal items around, which lead to leaving my husband's beats behind, and when asked if they could ship to our home, the charge was $165, so I opted out and just bought new ones, so just make sure you don't leave anything important behind. Besides that we had a great time. We would stay in this hotel again when in Mexico City.

Very well managed property. Rooms are spacious with 18 feet ceiling and are super clean. Very comfortable beds with high quality linen and plush towels. Breakfast is included. Good choice of food and served à la carte. The staff is vey friendly and provides lots of little treats to guests. Snack bar is available all day: great soups, salads, sandwiches and coffees. Some beverages available free of charge. Took us pleasantly by surprise. Hotel in centre of historico district so it’s very convenient to walk to every major tourist attraction and monuments.
