Mexican hotels. They give you no info on check in unless you ask. Is there a pool? Is there a gym? Breakfast? Restaurant recommendations? The airport shuttle? Once an hour — seems inadequate for what we’re paying. There was a fridge but it was locked. We were very comfortable, the room was good and enough drinking water.

The location was okay since we were in CDMX for a concert, but there weren’t many dining options nearby. The hotel charged $8 for three very small pieces of avocado, which felt excessive. While some of the more touristy areas appear close on the map, heavy traffic meant getting anywhere took 40+ minutes.
