Everything about this hotel was perfect. My husband and I loved our stay. It’s very walkable, the staff is extremely helpful. Vaina and Mauricio helped navigate us especially during the busy Día de los Muertos days. The rooms were very clean every day, they provide a very fresh and tasty breakfast, the hotel its self is beautiful and is in a historic building.

I had to leave this reservation on the first day of a 5 day plan, the location seemed good at first but it is actually in the middle of the street market in the morning when I woke up when I went out it was so crowded that I was very afraid to be mugged, this was not expected at all from an Expedia VIP property... Wow I couldn't stay for one night more - I have. I words to describe this

La ubicación es perfecta ya que está en una calle tranquila donde no hay puestos ambulantes. Me dieron la habitación antes de mi check in, lo cual agradezco. El desayuno bastante abundante, el agua caliente perfecta. Los puntos que encontré negativos y que podrían mejorar: Reparación de muebles desgastados, almohadas no percudidas (me costó mucho dormir por esa razón)

Pros: It was mostly very quiet, which I really liked. The bed was firm, but not rock hard, I actually slept very well (just not very long due to an early flight). It was a good price, but not really as close to the Zocalo as you would think and prices have gotten crazy everywhere downtown. Easy to get a taxi at 3 am. Liked the high ceilings and large room. Lots of shopping stalls within a few blocks. Loved the feeling of getting to stay at what I perceive as a Mexican home. Shower water took a while to get hot. Cons: Although well-lighted outside, felt insecure about safety (although there were only 2 people out at 3am). No tv or internet USB sockets anywhere on property I could see so not having a phone plug meant my phone ran out of power. No elevator (but they brought my bag up for me).

A Gem. Great location.

The hotel was a little hard to find as we arrived late at night. The location was superb. There is no lift but not much of a problem for us. Might be a problem for others. A usual for Mexico, no fridge. The breakfast was nice. The staff were excellent and super friendly
