Staff were very friendly and helpful. The guard at the front and the houseman were very accommodating of my late reservation. The room was clean (though a few areas were missed-I’ll mention in my Google review). Still no big deal, the room was cozy and well decorated and safe . Hotel is In a great area, lots of restaurants. If you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back of the hotel . The water was hot and showers pressure was good . The staff here is excellent and I’ll be back .

Great and cute hotel

This hotel was in a great location near alot of places to eat and shop. Everything seemed like a short walk or shorter ride. The door men were extremely nice and felt extremely safe. They had luggage storage which came in handy when arriving early and having a later flight after checkout. It’s more of an airbnb type hotel then a traditional hotel, so dont expect getting towels and stuff as easy, so that was the only downside but still am amazing place to stay at while staying in roma norte.

Great place, great location. The staff were all very nice, and despite us not speaking a lick of Spanish (that’s on us) we were able to manage checkin, checkout and the mysterious door lock. The layout options were awesome and very spacious.

My husband and I loved this hotel! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I want to mention Juan, Bernardo, Lauro and Javier who all helped us in some way and were very professional. It’s a convenient walking distance from everything we wanted to visit. We are vegetarians and we had so many options on restaurants, some of our favorites were Gatorta, Gracias Madre, Plantasia and Goyo’s Burgers. We loved the apartment style of our room, it was very clean and aesthetically pleasing, my favorite part was having a patio to go out to in the mornings. The one thing I would mention is that our room faced the street so we could hear everything happening outside. It wasn’t a big issue for us but if you have trouble sleeping I would ask what room is further away from the street. Zona Rosa is very close which has lots of bars and great nightlife. Arena Mexico is walking distance for a Lucha Libre fight night. It’s also an easy spot to get an Uber or taxi to pick you up and visit other places in the city!

Would rate the stay 4.5/5. Overall, the property was gorgeous and was in a perfect location. Very walkable to food, drinks, and shopping. The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in one of the front apartments facing the street and we did not find it that loud like other reviewers. Only downsides would be they could have been generous with towels, and toilet paper. Also, our first night the water in the apartment was not working at all which was a bummer but it was quickly fixed.

This was without a doubt one of the best stays we’ve ever had in all the places we’ve visited. We got a cute little junior suite And had a really great stay. We didn't get to maximize our use of the kitchen, but it doesn't come super well stocked if you actually want to cook. You will need to purchase many of the basics, like cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc. The staff at the front door are friendly. I wish the windows had screens on them because we spent one very sleepless night with at least one mosquito in the room and we're frequently killing mosquitos. It would've been nice to be able to open the windows without that problem. Otherwise, a great and easy stay!! Super convenient and cute neighborhood, lots of walkable places.

We left after one night. Room flooded the first night, no running water the next morning. There was a massive storm in Mexico City but the way the manager handled the situation was less than ideal. There are so many great options in this city - I would go elsewhere

Casa Oliva is a real gem in a great neighborhood. The staff are very sweet. One thing to note (which you can maybe tell since the hotel cost is pretty low), but there are minimal amenities like towels (just enough bath towels for guests, a hand towel, and a bath mat). There wasn’t maid service, so you just have to be mindful of that. However, the gym has a rack of weights and a treadmill/bike combo. There is laundry but detergent was hard to come by. The hotel has a clothing steamer and hair dryer in each room. I would definitely come back and just bring washcloths.

Casa Oliva was incredible! Definitely recommending to all my friends and staying here next time I’m in CDMX. We had an early arrival flight and got to the hotel around 6 AM. Even so, our room was ready for us right when we arrived so we did not have to wait. The security guard was constantly attentive, and the overall service was amazing. Not to mention, the hotel itself is so beautiful and serene. If you’re coming to CDMX, definitely stay at Casa Oliva.

Staying here in Roma Norte was a highlight of our stay in Mexico. Wonderful area, lots right at your doorstep. Beautiful renovated art deco building and spacious apartment. Wonderful door staff also. Recommend staying here in Mexico, you won’t be disappointed.
