Terry's review Soldiers Motel.

The room we were allocated was not the one appearing in the photo on this site. It was Room no 4 and needed a renovation, like most of the other rooms in the motel. It had nowhere to put your luggage. The shelf formerly there had been ripped out and not replaced. The bathroom needed a renkvation also, the bath had scratches all over the bottom. We were ectremely disappointed with this room allocation, given we paid the same price as other friends who stayed in a number of other rooms for the same period. I am also a long time member with Hotels.com and feel that we were badly let down in this case.

Great location wish easy walking distance into town. Checkin was easy and bed was very comfortable. Downside was that the cutlery was dirty on arrival and smell of cigarette smoke wafted in from the front door (smokers outside or adjoining room I assume).

The property was clean and neat, it smelt like strong cleaning product as we walked in. The bed wasn’t comfortable at all and had a terrible sleep with my partner. Location is good with a pub across the road. We used it for a stopover for one night so not too bad but wished we stayed at a better place and paid the extra fees bucks.
