Our Stay at Rolling Waves 1 was a wonderful stay. There was everything we needed for our 10 day stay and a BBQ Webber for the fishing trips. Great book selection also for those moments of down time. The rooms are very compact but quite big bathrooms. 3min walk to park and beach was a great bonus to wake up and get the kids and dog out for a run and play first thing in the morning. Lockable garage was a great bonus too. There is a small outside area for dogs but it’s all paved and a bit messy, not grassed and doggy inviting, my dog didn’t like it and was scared to be out there. I’m sure it’s been paved for practicality but probably just needs a little tidy and love and attention. Front door doesn’t have a quiet way of entry or exit it’s a slam and pull type door no handle to twist or turn.. it made it hard trying to take the dog out for toileting early in the morning and not waking up everyone in the downstairs bedrooms as the only other exit is garage and garage roller door.
