While this is an older resort, the staff was extremely couteous and attentive. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping attended them every day. The front desk staff were very helpful and put us in touch with very competent transportation, as the resort is a bit off the beaten track, which added to its appeal for us. The food was excellent and the wait staff made every meal special. There were plenty of options for us. They made a great vacation that much better.

We only stayed 2 nights and that was more than enough for us. To start off with when i asked about pricing a the hotel directly, they were trying to charge way more. Dont pay for the all inclusive, because the food here is terrible and they leave it out for hours. The beach has very little sand, and even though they say they have internet the WiFi doesn’t work. The AC and the rooms needs an upgrade. This hotel looks nice from outside, but once you’re here it needs a lot of work and it’s not worth the money.

I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, I like that it isn't too loud except for a couple occasions like christmas dinner. I find it is a good value to be right beside the ocean and having all meals covered plus snacks and several drink options. Yes it is a bit of a drive away from Merida but that puts it close to wild flamingos.

Let me start by saying we stayed here for a couple days because it was recommended by someone. After actually staying here, below are all the issues we had with and reasons why we will never stay here again: 1. Terrible food - we did all inclusive and never ate here after the first night. Very limited selection, potatoes were rubbery and unable to chew. 2. Staff - overall nice but not what would whoever in Mexico. Didn’t really ask about our stay when we checked out and have seen way nicer employees at other resorts. 3. Pool - freezing cold and consider it was very windy during this time when we were there. 4. Insects - below is a recap of all the insects we woke up to in our room: - huge spider, not your typical spider - found a roach in my room and in my luggage after checking out - bee in bathroom 5. Property - very outdated. We did not have WiFi in our room and the tv never worked. The bathroom also had the bare minimum towels and water took about 5 minutes to heat up.
