We were shocked and deeply disappointed upon arrival. The complex was in extremely poor condition and felt unsafe from the moment we arrived.Outside the building, we were met with trash, abandoned shopping carts, and a flashing blue police surveillance light directly in front of the entrance. The overwhelming smell of marijuana hit us as soon as we got out of the car.Inside the building, conditions worsened. The hallways reeked of pet waste and were filled with stained, filthy carpet and greasy handprints on the walls and elevator. I was honestly gagging from the smell.Once inside our unit, it seemed clean at first glance, but we soon found out it wasn’t. We found hair in the beds, pubic hair on the toilet seats and in the shower, and sticky residue like syrup all over the kitchen counters. To top it off, there were loud arguments and doors slamming in the hallway, creating a chaotic and unsettling atmosphere. As we were leaving, two police officers arrived, and we overheard someone mention an incident happening on the 5th floor — the same floor as our unit. That confirmed for us that staying here was simply not an option. We left and had to find somewhere else to stay.This experience was unacceptable and nothing like what was advertised.
