Forming one of the 3 units in this villa, this ground floor apartment is very nicely decorated and has a homey feel. It is right next to the pool and deck area. It is very well lit with 2 spacious bedrooms, bathroom with a large shower, sink and toilet. A combined living/dining area and a separate kitchen overlooking the pool and BBQ area. Property comes with free parking space, free WiFi and free cable t.v.
It is fully airconditioned and the consumption for the Aircondition is to be paid as per use by a coin sub meter located next to the entrance door.
One can enjoy the use of the pool, outdoor BBQ area and pool deck together with it's own patio with tables and chairs to have breakfast watching the sunrise or enjoying the calm outdoors in the evening.

Fantastic Holiday

The property was exactly as described, plenty of space and very much home from home in terms of furniture and household appliances. The pool and surrounding pool area was spotless and very comfortable. The property is in a quiet area of Melliah but with easy access to shops, there is a terrific supermarket (welbee) at the top of the road and plenty of restaurants to enjoy, there is a sports bar also at the top of the road (Reflections) excellent food whether it be Breakfast, Lunch or Evening meal all very reasonably priced We hired a car and travelled to all the attractions including an overnight stay in Gozo which was fantastic. Lots to do and see in Malta and we would thoroughly recommend this property, owner Margaret was an excellent communicator and keeps the property in tip top condition

A Relaxing week on Malta

Our flight was delayed and the host Margaret was very helpful with updating our transportation from the airport to the property. The refrigerator was stocked witch food for a quick meal on our arrival. The host Margaret lives next door. She is very helpful and quickly answers any questions you might have. The property is as described in the listing. It was very clean and located in a nice quiet area. The pool offers a nice place to relax before dinner after a day out exploring the island. Nice sandy beaches are easily accessible. The property is conveniently located to a large number restaurants and markets so whether you prefer to eat out or in you’ll have no trouble finding what you need. If you are looking for a laid back vacation on Malta and choose to stay at this property you will you will have an enjoyable and worry free accommodation for your trip.

Fabulous apartment in great location

From start to finish our stay was faultless. I stayed with my husband and 2 children (6 and 3 years). Margaret and her team were wonderfully warm and communicative. We hired a car and booked the airport transfers at very reasonable rates. The location of the property is within easy reach of restaurants and shops. We were provided upon arrival with items such as bread milk, eggs, cheese ham. etc - so good after travelling. Very thankful for our fantastic stay and would definitely return and recommend to others.

What a little gem. Communication with Margaret was excellent from the time of booking until we department. A fabulous touch were the essentials left for us including milk, bread, Flora, eggs, jam, cheese, ham and bottled water. The apartment was on the ground floor, one of thee in the villa. Spotlessly clean and ver spacious. The shared pool was fabulous and great for a cool down Well situated with the Cross Keys bar and restaurant just up the road. Valyou supermarket was a short walk and provided all the essentials and more. Mellieha is a great place to stay. Plenty of restaurants in the main part of the town. We walked down to Mellieha Bay one day, about two miles. We could not fault the apartment or the area. We wish we had booked for longer and hope to visit again next year. The bus service is excellent and we managed to visit Valletta and Mdina by bus. So much history. Would definitely recommend. Oriana and Dave, near Manchester UK

Perfect place in every way.

My husband and I stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor. Margaret had arranged a transfer from the airport for us which was great as our flight was in the evening. The apartment was spotlessly clean and contained everything required for a self catering break. The decor is very tasteful, a real home from home. We did not use the pool as weather was a bit cold but it would be perfect on a sunny day, with plenty of loungers, umbrellas and seating. It was very clean and well maintained. Margaret had left us a welcome pack so we could make a sandwich etc on our arrival. We were very grateful for this after our journey. The villa is in a peaceful area with access to all bus routes and walking distance to lovely beach, although uphill on way back!!! But plenty of buses that are very cheap. Margaret was a perfect host and if we return to Malta we will definitely come back to this property.

Fantastic stay!

The property was exactly what we needed for a lovely break in Malta. The apartment was clean and well equipped, as well providing a fantastic outdoor space with a pool and loungers. We didn't have a car but this wasn't a problem as it was only a short walk to the bus stop which provided easy transport to the local beaches. Margaret was very welcoming and made us feel very at home!

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday on Malta at Margaret's villa and home in Millieha. We stayed in the 2-bedroom ground floor flat which opens directly onto the pool area. The flat was very clean and comfortable, equipped with everything that you need for a holiday to cater for a family including safe, private parking spaces on the property itself. The pool area is wonderful and very well looked after with plenty of sunloungers. Margaret is a lovely host - warm, friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is perfectly located within walking distance of a very good supermarket and the town centre which has a selection of cafes, restaurants, shops and banks. Mellieha bay lies a short driving distance away, good for swimming and with a selection of beach eateries. The ferry to Gozo is only a 12-minute drive away. I feel we made an ideal choice and can wholeheartedly recommend this property to other holidaymakers who wish to have a cosy and homely place to stay with the options to self cater or eat out and swim from dawn til dusk. Thank you Margeret for making us feel so welcome in your delightful family home.

Malta and the apartment we're amazing.

The apartment and position was great. The pool was kept immaculate. Margaret was a great host. Any concerns however small we're dealt with immediately. Malta is beautiful and everyone is friendly. We will visit Malta again soon.

Beautiful property with stunning views

We stayed at the this beautiful villa the last two weeks of March 2019. We had originally booked the ground floor two bedroom apartment but arrived to find that we had been upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment on the first floor with a wrap round balcony and stunning views. We were also greeted with one of the best welcome packs we have every received. The apartment was beautiful, tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and really well equipped. Margaret, the owner was extremely helpful and provided much local knowledge. We made plenty of use of the BBQ and pool area. The villa is well situated just of the Main Street leading to the village of Mellieha, which is full of lovely restaurants, small bars and lots of small shops with friendly helpful staff. The island its self is very beautiful and the neighbouring small island of Grozo is well worth a visit. Margaret and Joe made us feel very welcome and we would most definitely return.

Lovely spacious appartment with great views

Reallly enjoyed our 4 days stay. Margaret met and gave us all the Info we needed. The appartment was well equipt and had nice areas to sit out and enjoy the sun. The pool was nice but we didnt use it as the temperature this time of year was a little cold.. You can walk into mellieha, but it is better if you have a car. Would definitely go back if visiting the area again.

Wonderful stay!

Just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks trip feeling very happy and rested! We had never been to Malta before so we weren’t sure exactly where the best place to stay was. The villa (based in mellieha) is perfectly situated to explore the island. As the bus links are so good I wouldn’t imagine it was necessary to hire a car but we did as we had a toddler in tow and made it easier to get around. Margaret was a fantastic host and even left us a few crucial supplies, which was extremely helpful as we arrived quite late at night. She was also on hand to ask any questions we had and any help we needed. She also set us up with a baby cot, high chair and baby bath. The basement apartment, which we had, was set up with everything you might want and there was a great little shop at the top of the hill selling everything you might need (VALYOU). The pool is lovely in the warm summer months with plenty of space on the sunloungers. There is also a dining area by the pool with great panoramic views – lovely for enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sun set. There are plenty of restaurants in mellieha itself, L’amigo and Randi were our personal favourites.. fantastic and well-priced traditional Maltese food. Attached to VALYOU is a great little cafĂ© which is perfect to grab some lunch and does a fantastic takeaway. I would perhaps have some change handy, as the a/c is coin-operated so it’s always useful to have some spare Euros lying around. It’s a great base if you want to really explore Malta but is also really great if you just wanted to do nothing and relax by the pool! It's very tempting to just stay in. My only advice would be, get decent car insurance as the driving can be.. erratic shall we say and everywhere is quite hilly. It didn’t bother us as we found it great exercise between activities. Anywhere you stay in Malta has the potential for a steep hill before you end up in town for the evening. It can be quite nice to have a walk back home after some evening food but I would definitely not bother with any high heels! :) Already missing the lovely food, pool and sun! fantastic holiday in Malta. We loved this. it was great.

The villa Margaretia was fantastic. It was spacious and very welcoming. The pool was very inviting and myself and family enjoyed swimming in it. The villa was in a very peaceful setting. There was plenty of loungers for all the family to use. The villa itself was very comfortable and it had everything that was required for a self catering holiday. it was a nice touch of Margaret to provide a welcome pack of the basics, this was very much appreciated. There was room for me to park my hire car which was good and gave me peace of mind that it would be safe. The beds were very comfortable and provided all of us peaceful, restful nights sleep. The villa was close to a good supermarket, (valyou) which provided very good food,, this was about 10 minute walk from the villa. Also it is nice walk from the villa into Mellieha where you can walk past churches, shops and restaurants. Margaret (the owner) is very friendly, helpful, willing to put herself out for you if there is anything you need, but once she shows you the villa she leaves you alone to enjoy your holiday. If there were any problems she could be contacted immediately. We did not need to contact her at all during the week we were there. We would like to thank her for a very relaxing,peaceful, restful and friendly accommodation . This made our holiday a fantastic experience. I would recommend this villa to anyone that is looking to holiday in Malta. If we decide to holiday again in Malta we would definitely come back to the villa. . Lovely, clean and spacious apartment in great location to tour Malta

Our stay at this beautiful apartment didn't start well with a 3+hr delay flying from the UK, however once we'd arrived, saw the apartment and had been warmly welcomed by Margaret our holiday began. The location is perfect for touring the island or just walking to the local shops, bakery and fab local Mithna Restaurant. The apartment was very spacious with lots of storage for our things, the pool and outside dining area provided a perfect location for sunbathing or a chilled glass of the local vino. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and will certainly consider coming back again for a holiday or cheeky weekend away in the sun.

Perfect Holiday Week

Margaret's apartment and pool were perfect for our two children and us. The pool was just right for the kids to be safe and happy with lots of toys for them to play with - they loved it. Our oldest (5) even learnt to swim for the first time! The apartment was beautiful and clean and looked brand-new with everything we could want. Margaret was very responsive to all our needs too. It is in a perfect location near to the shops, bus and restaurants - about 100m away - and the beach at the bottom of the hill. The area is very quiet though and peaceful and just what we needed. We loved having tea and dinner on the patio overlooking the valley.

Lovely apartment in Mellieha

The apartment was spotless and the owner was always on hand to help with any queries. We relied on public transport in Malta and the bus stop, supermarkets, shops and restaurants were only a short walk from the apartment. Highly recommended.

Amazing place

We enjoyed our stay in appartement nr 2 of the Villa Margherita. Everything needed is available in the apartment and in tiptop condition. The AC was very nice for heating in the evening, because this March it was still rather cold in Malta. Margaret is a super friendly hostess, thanks for all your little attentions like the food that was waiting for us in the fridge and the taxi that you arranged to pick us up from the airport. The apartment is a 7 minutes walk from the nearest bigger supermarket (Valyou). We certainly recommend this apartment and hope to come back there ourselves.

Margaret nous a surclassĂ© et nous avons pu finalement profitĂ© d'un des appartements du haut. Il est absolument parfait: vaste, trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ© (la cuisine est flambant neuve) avec une terrasse agrĂ©able et une vue sur la mer, d'une propretĂ© remarquable. Margaret est trĂšs rĂ©active: nous avions un problĂšme de chauffage le premier soir, elle nous a apportĂ© des radiateurs d'appoint et le lendemain le problĂšme Ă©tait rĂ©glĂ©. Le quartier oĂč se trouve la maison est agrĂ©able. Je recommande totalement cette location.

Appartement agréable et bien déservi par les bus

Appartement conforme à l'annonce. Comme nous arrivions un peu tard, la propriétaire avait rempli le frigo,. Le lieu est bien déservi par les bus mais il faut compter 1 h de trajet pour se rendre à valette. La piscine est ouverte en permanence et nous étions souvent seuls.
