Fantastic Stay at a Fantastic Accomodation

A stop in Melbourne was a late addition to our trip but one we're so glad we decided to include. Our stay at the Veriu Queen Victoria market was perfect in every way and suited our requirements entirely. From it's position in the CBD and location near the market and Chinese quarter , getting around was super easy. The hotel operated very efficently, our room was perfect in every way for our needs & we will not hesitate to chose the Veriu again when in Melbourne or use their other hotels in different locations.

Located right in the heart of Queen Victoria Market, we had amazing access to restaurants, cafes, and the market itself just steps from the door. The tram was only a short walk away, making it super easy to get around the city. The unit was a fantastic value—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a built-in kitchen, fridge, and stovetop, which made our stay even more convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

Great location, the room had everything we needed (although the room was a lot smaller than it looked in all the photos). Nice pool. Close to the tram. Like most CBD hotels, it can be a bit noisy.

Great location but the cleaning staff need to be retrained, they literally have no idea how to clean a room. I was here for 2 weeks and my floors were never vaccumed and my sheets were only replaced twice. They would frequently miss my towels or not take any rubbish away.

Good Melbourne location.

Front desk staff were lovely, good location and has all the facilities you need (Inc laundry). Being so close to a stop within the free tram zone was super helpful

A great location

Overall a pleasant stay, the bathroom had no towel rail and no hand towel which was an irritation. 3 pillow provided on a queen bed seemed odd (booking for 2) in sure I could of asked for extra items it just seemed odd to not have them to begin with Location is fantastic for the market, old jail and museum. For the price - booked 6 months in advance - was worth it
