Nice hotel. Don’t be put off by immediate vicinity
This is a lovely hotel. I stayed for 8 nights in January and booked because it was walkable to the tennis and good value. I was a little thrown by the graffiti in the neighbourhood when I first arrived but once I explored the area I realised that there are some lovely streets/properties and some great cafes on Bridge and Swan. The tram stop is right outside and is close to a nice wine shop, supermarket and laundry if you need provisions. Do book the balcony room as it affords a great view over the Olympic Park and to the city - well mine did on the 7th floor!

Such a beautiful hotel! Thank you for a fantastic stay! We had our first ever trip to Australia for the Open and appreciated how convenient it was to get around. That stop right outside your entrance was great but we also enjoyed the walks to and from the grounds. I’m sorry we didn’t catch a time in your bar/restaurant. Next time!

Great Hotel!
A fantastic overnight stay at Motley Hotel to enjoy the Aussie open tennis. Easy 15 minute walk to the sports ground. But the hotel is fantastic, very comfortable and the service was outstanding and genuine. We will definitely come back and stay again and really recommend :-)

Amazing hotel, the beds are so comfortable with a pillow menu The staff went above and beyond, even tracking us down when my son left his watch in the lounge. And the signature aroma that they have is intoxicating…… can’t recommend enough

A little different by appearances, courteous and helpful staff. Exceptional dinning experiences for breakfast and dinner. Quiet comfortable, clean room and facilities. Would recomend to anyone looking for great accomodation close to the MCG and Melb park precinct in easy walking distance. Great place
