It was suitable for the length of stay, however the noise from the traffic passing outside was very audible. The owners of this hotel would do well to invest in windows that offer better sound proofing.

What we needed for a 1 night stay

Rooms were what we needed for a one night stay. One of the bedrooms was so small the door wouldn’t open past the bed. The ensuite was so small the shower door had to open inwards. That was fun trying to close once you were in the shower. Shower soaps were good. It was handy to have a shower cap too. No restaurant onsite. Great location as was walking distance to the restaurants on Southgate.

Room is clean and tidy. Kitchen utensils could be improve as the pots and pans teflon coating was worn out and not safe to use. Housekeeping could do better with better training. Bin was clear out but not the waste left next to it. This happened twice.

Checked in around midnight on Sunday 18May and totally appreciated the efficient, attentive service of the young man on duty - particularly the help with the safe parking system. Rooms are comfortable, practical and clean - love having the washer/dryer. The central location suits our appointments. This is our second stay, and will be back.

Location is great. Walking distance to everything. Cleanliness and maintenance could be better. Room WiFi never worked but there was a general hotel WiFi I could use. Staff had made a point to highlight specific room WiFi on check in but then dismissed it when mine didn’t work. Carpet had quite a few large stains and again staff was not concerned when I reported it. Washer and dryer worked very well, which was quite convenient. Bed was comfortable but there is no air conditioning in the bedroom itself, just a wall mounted oscillating fan that was a far less desirable option. Might stay again if price was right but I imagine there are better options.

The staff were the best part. One of the women was basically psychic, able to come up with every solution and even anticipate my concerns and proactively provide her help. Her name was Sakshi I believe and she truly stole the show and made my trip. Thanj you!

Great place for exploring Melbourne

The hotel is in the walking distance to CBD and major attractions on the Southbank. The room was very well equipped. We definitely recommend this place.

Is in a good location on Southbank, which is an easy walk over several bridges into the city. Very close to supermarket restaurants bars and the art. Rooms have all you need. Would recommend and stay again.

Property (the apartment) was quite noisy - the windows provided minimal noise reduction to the street noises outside and were somewhat drafty - no doubt a reflection on cheap materials by the builder. Wifi was terrible, and phone coverage with Telstra non existent away from the room balcony. Otherwise fine.

Unbelievable

Two bedroom room, 3 staying Only 1 aircon in apartment, meant bedrooms were very hot at night with doors closed. Room rate was over 5 times normal because Grand Prix was running. It was price gauging and absolutely extraordinary for a not so nice two bedroom apartment I travel 26 weeks a year to a number of countries. I will never stay here again

The apartment was a great spot for us to access the Moomba festival, Southbank & Flinders St Station. It was a lot smaller than I expected- with only one couch for 4 people. The ensuite was very small and to get in to the shower was a feat in itself due to the door configuration. When the room is booked for more than 3 days additional cleaning supplies should be provided- one sachet of dish liquid was insufficient.
