The room was clean, whilst the check in inside oyur room felt a bit awkward the person checking us in was really nice and very helpful. The only thing we didn't like was the bed, it was a hard bed and quite uncomfortable. Location was great, just on the edge of the city , a nice place

This place was fantastic.. They really did me a solid by giving me a room on higher floor overlooking the market. For a solo traveler or even 2 people that place is great and in a good central location. The person met me at the place when I arrived, showed me around and then left me alone. Perfect. As mentioned in previous reviews, the kitchen area is small and not the most modern but everything worked great and was perfect for my needs. Would definintely stay here again.

The room was sufficient, the bed was comfortable. I was within walking distance to cafes, public transport, theatres, etc. I did think the listing included a washing machine, but this was out of order. There were paid laundry facilities on-site though. The dishwasher in the room (bonus), was also not working.

Quiet city location in Melbourne (trams are around the corner) but with easy access in all doirections via public transport. Room had everything we needed and was comfortable. Great value for money.

Much like other reviews, this was disappointing. The room was not very clean (marks on the pillow, hair from the last guest and mould in the shower). The air con unit was VERY loud and not very effective. The wardrobe unit was broken and hanging off the top hinge - notified staff but it wasn’t fixed in the 4 nights we stayed despite them saying it was a real safety risk and that they’d get it fixed asap. Staff member we dealt with was friendly. Again, we weren’t aware it wasn’t a hotel when we booked - quite misleading.

The room is little rundown. The tolid room sink was clogged but was quickly fixed after reported. The washer door was broken and stuff left behind inside again it was fixed next day after reported. The closet door is broken but usable. There were tree or water flies around which killed few. The carpet was dammed and look dirty. The air condition unit is old and loud when turn on. The TV is old and not modern smartTV. not much selection on TV channel or not able to connect to internet or display via device. The location is nice and accesible to many restaurant an tram service. It is inside the Melbourne CBD area

We were pretty disappointed with our stay. Unfortunately the room was not as advertised… the “city view” balcony looked directly onto a hotel wall only a few metres away, which was nothing like the photos shown when booking. The room also had an unpleasant smell when we arrived and we had to purchase our own room spray just to make it bearable. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. There were also several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The bin in the room was extremely small and impractical, the TV in the bedroom did not work, and the toilet had visible skid marks when we first arrived, which was pretty off-putting. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations and for the price, we expected much better attention to cleanliness, comfort and accuracy in the listing.
