This property might be okay, if you have complete flexibility for your stay. For example, there is no front desk (known when booking), you have to coordinate a time via phone to check in. You cannot leave your bags in the property before or after check-in and there is no parking (again - known at time of booking). The property is very dated, the carpets have large lumps throughout the living and bed rooms and are a bit of a trip hazard. There is extension cords and power boards running across the floor in the living room and a power board next to the bed. The heating/cooling system could be the loudest I've ever experienced and there was a reed diffuser which makes an overpowering smell for a small apartment. The TV in the living room did not work (it turns on and has a blurred picture) and the batteries in 2 of the 3 remotes were flat. Positives are that the apartment is a good size and has all of the facilities that you would want in it. It is very close to the Queen Vic Market and easy walking distance the central Melbourne.

It was a small room, some hard to clean mould in the shower but otherwise very clean and comfortable. Great spot, right next to the markets and a woolies. Very walkable. Hadva great stay.

Cosy and comfortable stay in great part of town..

City Tempo was a nice stay, is peaceful there although I've stated there before and the room I chose this time was substantially smaller than the last in I was in which was still okay as was cost. Decor a little dated but was still working well when all factorscinsidered. Tha place was really clean on arrival and s in a busy but still great part of town with Flagstaff gardens ablock away, a Woolies directly opposite with an abundance of food options everywhere near by and the Vic market a block or so away as well..

I would probably rate this a 3.5 stars. It was a pretty nice comfy property, great location, mostly clean and I received a nice welcome upon my arrival. Not really sure if I would return though but it wasn’t too terrible. Cons / Room for Improvement: - the hallway out of the lift on level 7 was pretty stinky for some reason. It was not really pleasant to return to but at least the smell doesn’t seep into the room itself. The room itself was fine. - one of the provided towels in the bathroom had a weird yellow stain on it so I didn’t use it after I noticed that. - following on from this, just feeling a bit questionable on the cleanliness, not sure about the bed but I woke up feeling itchy and uncomfortable about if it was due to the bedsheets… - I was advised via Expedia messages that I would receive instructions 24 hours prior about meeting the owner to pick up the keys upon arrival but I hadn’t received any information so I had to reach out to them to obtain the meeting details. Luckily they replied promptly but next time could be a bit more organised. Thank you for the stay.
