We would have preferred a room with an window and outlook, the cleaning chemical smell was overwhelming when we first entered the room was wondering why this would be, we also wondered why we got an disabled room? The staff member who checked me in was rude. Despite having purposely booked a room without a view of Spencer Street, I was given one, so there was quite a bit of noise from the street. The room was cold. I tried adjusting temperature without success. I couldn’t get reception to answer my call to them from my room. I ended up actually having to phone their landline number to get someone to answer my call. On a positive note, the staff member who checked me out was friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location. Close to Southern Cross and trams.

Price and location are the main reason I stayed with the Atlantis. Dont expect to use wifi, reception is so bad. Basically useless. And no water fountain in the gym. Make sure bring your own water to the gym.
