Stay at ANY one of the other dumpy Brooks motels.
I’m not entirely sure if there’s a worse place that I’ve stayed in before.. and I’ve stayed at the Tel Star in Brooks! Where to start.. bring your moon rover because the parking lot has meteor craters everywhere. The room we had obviously wasn’t vacuumed. The TV didn’t work, the light over the sink didn't work, took forever to get warm water, the air conditioner rattled and woke us up constantly. The bath towels were ripped. Sheets were stained. Fridge barely got cooler than room temperature.
