Great little house
This was a perfect home base for our visit to northeastern Illinois. Great location - very close to restaurants and grocery stores, and also to 31 and 120 so it was easy to navigate. The backyard provided lots of space for our dog to run around. Inside was very clean, check in and out was a breeze, owner very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

We loved the house! We always travel with our dog and a house with such an amazing fenced yard is worth it’s weight in gold. It is a great location and Christine was wonderful to communicate with about everything. Her restaurant suggestions were excellent! We especially liked the Little Chef.

Stayed at a nearby property from the same host
We planned to stay at this McHenry property, but there was a booking conflict so we ended up staying at a nearby property by the same host. We requested to checkout an hour late due to some morning appointments and the host was very accommodating. Would stay at one of her properties again.
It was very clean, nicely furnished, and pet friendly. We had a great time and would definitely book again.

Great Home!
In between selling and buying. This Home accommodated both me and my husband as remote workers. A great place for our two poodle mix dogs with access to fenced In Back yard. Owner was always responded quickly to questions, accessible the entire time. So much better than a management company. Best part, Everything was clean and beautifully decorated.
I highly recommend!! McHenry is a diamond not too many people know about. Go visit and stay with Christine. House and her customer service will not disappoint!!!

short stay--convenient location
We stayed in this property with our puppy. Christine was excellent! She communicated well, provided us with a list of McHenry’s best restaurants, and had everything ready for us when we arrived. She even thought to put out old towels for us to use for doggie paws 😊 The backyard is large and fenced which was a great benefit with a dog. It’s a very quiet neighborhood, and we found an excellent doggie daycare about two miles away (Camp Bow Wow, McHenry). There is also a nice state park (Moraine Hills) about 10 minutes away; it was a nice walk for all of us.

A lovely home
