Listing Description:
Lakefront home at the quiet end of Dodson Creek Cove, next door to Paradise Cove: three bedrooms sleep 14 (three kings, plus two doubles in each of two rooms), three full baths, hot tub and fire pit on the patio, kayaks included, and a shared dock with your own slip a short walk away. Ten minutes to Maynardville, about 45 minutes to downtown Knoxville, 5 minutes by car or boat to Beach Island Marina and Boathouse at 33. Our rental pontoons can be delivered right to the dock.
The Space:
THE HOUSE
Galley kitchen with a standard coffee maker and a K-Cup brewer, dishwasher, large fridge (new in 2026), stove and over-the-range microwave, and a toaster. Three full bathrooms, each with a hair dryer. Hot tub, Weber gas grill (we supply the propane), fire pit (we supply the firewood), Samsung Smart TVs throughout (sign in to your own streaming apps; there is no cable), and KUB Fiber Wi-Fi.
KAYAKS
Kayaks and paddles are included; please return them to the rack when you are done. We do not supply life jackets for the kayaks, so bring your own.
DOCK & WATER
Shared 3-slip dock with a swim ladder, a short walk from the house. One slip per house and one boat per house; our rental pontoon uses the third slip. The dock has no power. Boat trailers can stay on the grass at the house (trailers from our other houses may be parked in the open field too); the closest launch is Beach Island Marina, 5 minutes away.
This is seasonal water. The house sits at the back of the cove on a deep part of the lake, so the dock normally floats from May into late September or early October. TVA lowers the lake every fall and raises it in spring, levels vary year to year and can drop at any time in a drought, and we cannot refund for low water or a dock that is not floating. If you are booking the off season and the dock matters to you, message us first.
PONTOON RENTALS
$325 per day plus a $50 insurance fee and tax, delivered to the dock with a full tank. Book online at least a week ahead to guarantee delivery (the link is in your booking messages). Operators need a valid boater's license or a birth date before January 1, 1989. Boats stay in after dark (insurance rule) and come back with a full tank. Adult life jackets are included; bring kids' sizes.
TUBES & LILY PADS
Two-person tubes ($60 per day) and 15 x 6 ft floating lily pads ($40 per day) can be added to any stay. Reserve a week ahead and they will be at the house when you arrive.
Guest Access:
The whole house is yours. Up to 4 cars and 1 boat per house.
