Just 300 m from the Central Station where the trains connecting Matera to Bari leave, from the bus stop for Bari airport and Ferrandina station, from the FrecciaLink stop which connects the Frecciarossa high speed train. Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the starting point for visiting the Sassi, can be easily reached in 10 minutes on foot. The apartment, on the first floor of a building with a lift, has three bedrooms with double beds, each with a private bathroom. In addition, a double sofa bed is available in one room. The living area is equipped with a flat-screen television, sofa, table and fully equipped kitchen. Guests have the entire apartment at their disposal. Max 8 guests. Free Internet Wi-Fi. Matera is incredible.
Domenico is a great host. He wanted to meet us personally so he could share his enthusiasm about Matera with us.
The condo is very nice and close to the Sassi.

A great place from which to explore Matera & Sassi
We had great time staying ‘Under the Pines’ during our 3 days in Matera. The building is conveniently located to the main square & Sassi. The unit was well equipped with virtually everything one needs or wants for a short term stay. The main room, bedrooms & bathrooms were clean & spacious. Communication was excellent & our host met us at the appropriate time for check in with a tour of the unit. He offered maps & suggestions of things to see during our stay.
The area seems very safe and the unit is very quiet with security doors & windows.

Great and spacious apartment in central location
we loved the apartment. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Nice little kitchen and sitting area. Free parking, WIFI, close to all of the attractions. Highly recomment.
