Wonderful Apartment

We absolutely loved staying in this lovely modern apartment. Everything was catered for right up to having sun lotion & books to read. The outdoor living was a wonderful evening retreat. The apartment was so clean and it was great being able to watch UK programmes in English while winding down for the night. Everything was within walking distance, grocery shopping, dining out, the sea & beach and general shops, even a bar a stones throw away. It was great that there was a lift in the apartment. It was great to have screens on the doors to let the air in and keep the bugs out and the air con worked wonders. It was great having the use of a washing machine aswell. Thank you Jason for being such a welcoming and helpful host. We would highly recommend your apartment.

We were picked up by Jason at the airport and he had a few cold beers waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived .The apartment was exactly like the pictures with a huge balcony and a view of the harbour,which was only a 5 min walk away with a few bars and restaurants,would definetly recommend this apartment .Jason and his wife we lee the perfect hosts and they even sorted a rental car for us

Fabulous apartment in Marsascala

Great apartment, has everything you could need and all excellent quality. Handy for a couple of supermarkets and buses to get around Malta. Lovely views from the terrace. Well furnished, with a comfortable bed. Jason is an excellent host, picking us up from the airport then taking us back at the end of the stay. We will definitely book this apartment again next time we visit Malta. We can recommend this apartment to anyone who is planning a trip to Malta. Thanks Jason for a lovely stay

Penthouse apartment Marsascala

Apartment lived up to our expectations. Very clean and well equipped. Lovely views from both balconies. There is some building work but none that was troublesome. Car parking either on the street or on the sea front which is only minutes away was not a problem. We had a very enjoyable stay in Malta and would use this apartment again for a return visit. 😊

This penthouse is great place to stay for your holiday jason is a lovely man he left me flowers and a card for my birthday. He even takes the time to pick you up from airport. The apartment has everything you need we will definitly staying again.

Nice stay in Marsaskala

The property was very comfortable. They were building in front and beside the unit so there was dust in the air at times. The unit had 2 air conditioners. One in the bedroom and 1 in the living area. The owner mentioned that we would be charged for the use, which we had not come across before. The owner was a very pleasant young man and picked us up from the Airport and took us back.

Beautifully presented, well equipped and ideally located flat.

This apartment is ideally located, not too close to the sea, but a five minute walk away. All necessary conveniences such as shops, chemist, bars etc are very close; parking is on street but usually easy to find a space very close by. The flat itself is immaculate, with every conceivable facility; linen, towels, tea-towels etc all changed regularly. For anyone staying longer than a few days, the washing facilities are excellent: drying outside takes only a few hours. Both main balconies get sun for several hours daily, so one can rotate any washing to maximise drying time. The bed is very comfortable, there is plenty of storage space, and the sun terrace at the front is super for alfresco breakfast or lunch with the sea in the background, with or without using the gas barbecue. Jason is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble; he cares deeply that his guests feel at home and that they are well provided for and looked after. He is an unfailing source of information. We will return!

Exactly as in photo, spotlessly clean and very light and airy,with views of sea and bay.

We were picked up by Jason at the airport and shown around apartment,when he came half way through our stay to bring fresh bed linen ,he kindly gave us a lift to marsaslokk on his way home .small issue with lift was very quickly rectified.Ideal location for a quieter stay with a good range of food shops, pharmacy,butchers and fishmonger within 5 minutes walk from property,we would not hesitate to recommend Horizon View to anyone, brilliant stay over Xmas period,also a big Xmas tree ,door wreath and Xmas ornaments were provided,and Jason also dropped of a gift wrapped plate of Xmas treats for us,very kind thought,thank you so much Jason .

Charming getaway

The Appartment in Marsascala has all you need The views from both balconies is wonderful It is very peaceful and relaxing. We found the locals very friendly. We were very surprised to find the people in the little convienience store remembered usfrom being in Marsascala 15 months ago. They were very helpful to us.It was lovely to hear the bells chiming again. We would highly recommend the penthouse in Marsascala. The Maltese Falcon

Jason and Kathleen were the perfect hosts! A very nice touch from them picking us up and return to the Airport. From the moment we arrived they were so friendly and most helpful to us, as nothing was an inconvenience. The apartment was clean and tidy throughout with spectacular open sea views and cool breezes across Marsakala Bay. The local bus service is very good all Air Conditioned. The penthouse in Marsaskala was everything we expected, clean, modern and very well equipped. Jason the owner was kind enough to collect us from the airport and also make the return journey. He was extremely helpful, explaining everything we need to know about the apartment and the places of interest on the island. There is a large furnished balcony with sea views and a gas barbecue which we used regularly Next door is a convenience store and a butchers & fishmongers a few minutes walk away so it’s very easy to self cater & relax. Off the large spacious bedroom is another smaller balcony which is great for morning coffee being shaded from the sun until noon. All in all highly recommended for a lovely relaxing holiday in a quieter part of Malta.

Wonderful apartment

Just returned from a wonderful relaxing week at this lovely apartment. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, very much home from home! The balcony at the front of the apartment is huge, with lovely views of Marsascala, a lovely place to chill with a drink. An added bonus was the airport transfers which Jason, the owner provides , he also collected us from a venue of our choice as we had a late return flight, looking after our bags so that we did not have to carry them round with us all day. Overall a wonderful apartment and would recommend to anyone. We would surely return if we were to travel to this area of Malta in the future.

Clean and comfortable

We found the property clean and comfortable; it was well situated and provided a good base for our holiday. Jason was very helpful, meeting us at the airport and taking us back. He also arranged car-hire for a large part of our stay. Unfortunately, construction work was in progress nearby, beginning at 7.15am on most days, so we did not use the balconies very much. Having a car was very useful.

Lovely Appt

We were met at the airport by Jason as per his instruction in the dialogue we had once we booked the appt, he instructed us to meet him outside the arrivals hall. We were taken to the appt whichwas exactly as described by previous occupants. It was clean fresh and airy!. Plenty of space for two people. Jason explained how everything worked along with instructions of how to contact him if we needed to. There was a minor mis hap which on alerting Jason to he immediately rectified the problem, driving half an hour to sort the problem. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely appt and would stay again if we were to visit Malta again. we did not hire a car as we wanted to chill so took the buses when we ventured further afield. To be honest we walked a lot of the time which is what we needed to do to wind down. The weather as kind to us in early December. Thank you once again Jason. Jason also included in the price a return journey to the airport. Great service. Your appt is a credit to you. Beautiful apartment

Apartment had everything, lovely, modern and clean. Jason was very helpful. Sea was only just visible, but that didn't matter. Quiet location, easy access to shops, restaurants, buses. We got about easily, once we had worked out the bus circular routes! Would have been nice to have seen a visitor book with other guests experiences. Overall perfect!

From the first contact when enquiring about staying at the apartment every aspect was easy. Jason answers questions quickly and made the booking process very easy. He was at the airport to collect us when we arrived and drove us round Marsascala on the way to the apartment showing us the area. The apartment is spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The views are amazing from the balconies. The main town is a short walk away and has plenty of bars and restaurants. Plenty of places to visit in the area within a short walk. Jason assured us if we needed anything while we were there he was a phone call away although we didn't need him at all during our stay. He also took us back to the airport to come home. Will definitely book this accommodation again next time we are visiting Malta. Highly recommended. 5 stars

Jason is a wonderful guy. Nice clean rooms. We stayed 7 days and public bus pass. It was a good value but might be better to rent a car for Malta sightseeing. Had a great time. Recommend this place.

A smashing penthouse apartment with sea and harbour views..extremely good value for money.

Jason met us at the airport and gave us suggestions about what we might enjoy seeing in Malta as he drove us to the apartment. What a luxury having a lift to haul heavy cases up to the penthouse. The flat is stunning and Jason spent time showing us around and explaining to us how everything worked. When he left we popped into the convenience store around the corner and stocked up. The apartment has a few basics and Jason kindly left us some drinks and cake...Thankyou Jason. The shop around the corner, two mins to bus stop and ten minute stroll into Marsaskala along the prominade make the apartment ideally situated. I could go on but it's all been said in previous reviews. So do yourself and favour and book the perfect apartment and host from which to enjoy Malta. Thanks again Jason

Fantastic apartment

We stayed in the apartment for a week and the time flew in. Jason could not have been more helpful. He met us at the airport and despite an early departure took us back there. He took time to show us around the apartment and also arranged a hire car which arrived within minutes of our arrival at the apartment. He also sent an e-mail after a day or two to check that everything was O.K. and I'm sure it wasn't an empty enquiry. If you like the look of the apartment from the pictures you will love it when you get there. It seemed bigger in reality than the pictures showed! It is well equipped and all the extras like towels (plenty supplied) and bed linen are of good quality. The outside space is fantastic and the main balcony is huge. Being the highest apartment in the immediate area means that views over the harbour and out to sea are great and there seems to always be a cooling breeze. It is indeed aptly named Horizon View! The sun is on the balcony from sunrise and when it becomes shaded in late afternoon the sun is on the rear balcony. Within a day of arrival we were already referring to the apartment as 'home'. Marsacala is a lovely laid back type of a place and has everything needed for a relaxed break. If you want a lively 'party' type holiday then the more conventional tourist destinations may be a better bet. I have no hesitation in recommending this penthouse and would not consider staying anywhere else in Malta. Colin & Linda.

Great apartment in great location

Very clean and comfortable. Ideal location in a residential street within walking distance to the bay in Marsascala. Convenience shop just around the corner with sufficient stocks for your stay. Bus stop on the main road 1 min walk away. The owner Jason is very helpful and anything you need hes there to help. A car isn't essential as the buses are very regular and you can get passes but it depends on what you want to do and see. There are areas if you want to visit then you'll need to get 2 buses but overall going by bus may take longer but at least you get to see the island and your not stressing in a car watching for the other drivers who use the roads as they please.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

Just returned from two great weeks in the best apartment we have ever stayed in. It is a spacious, well equipped and immaculate apartment with great views from the large balcony. Jason was a great host who transported us from and back to the airport, making for a hassle free arrival and departure. He is very friendly and extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble for him and I can highly recommend this apartment and will not hesitate to stay here again when we return to Malta in the future.
