Staff were super friendly - couldn’t fault them but didn’t love the Riad. Was a 15 min walk from any main road and through the Medina which wasn’t nice at all. At night groups of men would hang around at the door or the Riad, so as a female traveller it didn’t feel entirely safe. Room was pretty small / basic and incredibly dark. Not much natural light and painted dark colours so it felt very small. Was fine enough for a short trip but wouldn’t return.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and nothing was ever too much trouble. The room was immaculate, and the riad itself is beautiful and perfectly located. We had such a lovely stay — the surroundings were stunning and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We honestly couldn’t fault this place. Thank you so much for hosting us.

The breakfast was really nice , the riad was beautiful itself however the sink in my room was clogged and the lights were very dim . Other than that , the staff was very helpful

Liked: Staff & service
I’ve stayed at different Riads in the Medina area and this has been my least favorite. As a woman, I did not feel safe when returning home to find at least 8 men sitting on the step of the Riad. There are several nearby on the same street and no other Riad had this issue. The response to opening the door was also slow at times leaving for uncomfortable interactions. I understand the tradition of the Riad and will reiterate that this is not my first time staying in one. I just wish the experience was more safe and personable.
My friend and I only stayed for two nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer. The room with the gold bathtub was spectacular! It was quiet, clean, and everyone was extremely helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere is wonderful. Would absolutely stay here again, thank you for a wonderful experience!
Very spacious room, accommodating luggage storage, and located in the heart of the Medina.
The staff helped us call a taxi to the airport, which was well worth the price. I think we paid $17 USD one way? The staff also helped us wheel out our luggage and led us to where the taxi driver waited for us.
My only complaint about this riad is that the dinner is quite expensive and mediocre. We paid close to $70 USD for 1 dinner for 2 people. That’s outrageous! We would’ve preferred to choose foods from a menu rather than having a cook make large portions of foods we didn’t want to eat.
Just had an amazing stay at the gorgeous Riad Yamina. We started our stay with an easy transfer organised by the Riad from the airport and a very warm welcome including Moroccan tea and homemade biscuits. Each day we were met with kindness and care from all the staff - special shoutout to Mehdi and Khalid! I will definitely be missing the Riad’s breakfast as their food was absolutely stunning.
Short walk to the square. Lots of people in the area. No direct hotel transportation. Be prepared to walk. Staff is very friendly & accommodating. Real Moroccan experience.
I just like to thank the staff for my fantastic stay as a solo traveller at their Riad. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, room was superb and breakfast was good too. Would definitely stay again. Just one negative was the banging noise in the mornings, I believe some works was going on. But overall very happy with my overall stay. Thank you ☺️
I travelled with my 2 teenager sons. The staff was excellent, friendly and very professional. Khalid took us under his wing, and always made sure we were happy, and had all we needed . Khalid walked with us if we needed to go get a cab. He carried my bag too. I felt safe.
The riad is clean, charming walking distance to everything. We loved the AC...much needed after a day of walking around in the city.
We can't thank the staff enough. It has been a very pleasant and out of this world experience. Would recommend.
We stayed at Riad Yamina 52 for 5 nights and it was an incredible experience! The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The Riad itself was clean and very beautifully made - there was barely any outside noise despite the bazaar being very near, all we could hear were birds! The breakfast was very tasty too, overall an amazing stay!
Incredible place! We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were particularly fantastic, very attentive, and often interested to hear about your experience and offer their recommendations.
One surprise for us was how much of a maze the Medina can be. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main road. For arriving, I recommend Jemaa el-Fnaa as a drop off point. We spent 3 nights, it was fantastic, but I would also say it was enough to do what we wanted to do.
