Most of my review is negative so I am placing the redeeming quality of this place first: The breakfast staff was amazing. They were very attentive amd if you needed anything then they would do their best to get it for you.
The property was described as being in the tourist zone but yet it was a 30 minute walk to get to the tourist attractions.
You can tell that the hotel was beautiful at one point but it has not been maintained.
During check-in we waited in line for about 20 minutes to check in, they offer you mint tea while you wait and there were musicians in the lobby. Once we got to the counter we were rudely informed we needed to complete forms and get back in line. They could have provided the forms while we waited in line instead of making us get back in line.
Our room was on the first floor. The sliding door did not close. We were informed maintenance would come by to repair but after 20 minutes later we were still waiting. We finally insisted th as that we be moved to a different room.
