If you're looking for the ultimate Florida Keys family vacation, look no further. This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with 5 beds in Duck Key checked all our boxes and then some.First, the location: this property sits inside the only gated community on Duck Key, which is a huge plus. No resort foot traffic, no crowds from Hawks Cay filtering through, just a quiet, private neighborhood with a relaxed Keys vibe. That sense of exclusivity made a real difference in how the trip felt from start to finish.The private pool was an absolute game-changer. There's something special about stepping outside and having the water entirely to yourself, no strangers, no resort chaos. Just your family, your pool. The kids were in it constantly.Inside, the home was spotless and incredibly well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook real meals, which we appreciated. The kids' room was thoughtfully set up, and the baby crib was a lifesaver, one less thing to pack or rent. Little touches like that show the host genuinely thinks about families traveling with young children.Speaking of the host, communication was excellent throughout. Check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free, and any time we had a question during our stay, we got a prompt response. That responsiveness goes a long way when you're traveling with kids and just want things to work.Clean, private, family-friendly, and in a fantastic location.
