The place was very clean. The neighborhood is quiet. Being able to fish right out back was perfect. It’s centrally located to the other islands for an easy and quick ride to see some sights.

The house was lovely, spacious, and clean. The little beach a few steps away was fun for the kids. The main issue was the host advised we were able to use the amenities before our trip and when I arrived there was a sign on the fridge that said we could not. I reached out to them and was told a property manager would reach out to me and they never did. If I would’ve known this before hand I wouldn’t have rented here. Other than that nice property.

The balcony was great for evening cocktails at sunset time. The space was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Oddly, this was the first rental where we had to buy coffee filters, salt and pepper.

Overall we had a decent stay and the location was nice, but there were a few things future guests should know. The listing does not mention that there is no access to Hawks Cay resort amenities, and that information was only shared about 30 days before the trip after the refund deadline had passed. The home also felt smaller than the photos suggest, a couple toilets had trouble flushing, some furniture was wobbly, and the TV remotes weren’t working even after messaging the host. With a few maintenance fixes and clearer information in the listing, the experience would likely be much better.

This place is nice, and it's clean. It was great for what we needed for our quick dive trip to Marathon. We did reach out to management for extra linens and we did not receive them. It is managed by a larger company, so if you are looking for a little bit more of a personal touch this might not be the best place. But overall it is a very nice place to stay.

Host never had contact with us when we got there so not sure about host interactions. I asked for them to air out the place due to my severe allergies to scents and instead of that they put all the fans on which made it worse. We found some dirty dishes when we arrived and one cup with coffee grounds in it which we left in the cupboard. Very sparse on amenities or as my husband said, what amenities? Wouldnt call it a fully stocked or equipped kitchen. Also, why no scissors? We never ran the dishwasher due to smell of soap.the location was good and it was quiet.

Very well kept and clean. A starter cleaning kit was there when I arrived. It was just 2 of us. So the kit and paper towels would have been sufficient. But I did purchase extra. Laundry soap, dishwashing soap, dish soap, 1 roll of paper towels, toilet paper. There was also beach towels and a beach umbrella. Initially- I was told there wasn't anything that was offered. So that was a pleasant surprise. It is a drip coffee pot, coffee liners were there. The pots and pans are kept on the back side of the island. I did have a problem with the lock on the door. I somehow reset the darn thing and reached out to mgmt to reset/fix. It never was addressed. I know because I could never lock it after day 3. There is absolutely no privacy on either deck. Up or down. It would be nice if a blind or a wall separated you from your neighbor. We did not have access to the resort amenities. But we were ok with that. This VRBO is perfectly placed between Key Largo and Key West. I would def consider returning to this place if I ever decide to come back to the keys. It would be nice if there was a guest book that you could sign and or give suggestions to the following renters. Lots of quaint restaurants. We wanted to steer clear of the tourist traps, so found small hidden finds. Very pleased with our stay.

Peaceful, clean, comfy beds. Beautiful view. Our grown kids enjoyed fishing and paddleboarding out back. My only suggestion is that given it was a VRBO that they provide dish soap, sponge, dishwasher tabs. There was zero shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Luckily we brought that but there were bottles in there that were empty. All in all we would stay there again. Just minor details that could be improved. Not a complaint just a suggestion. Also some basic seasonings could be added to the kitchen. We have zero problem going to the store and buying stuff to accommodate our stay but when you are traveling from a distance it would be nice to make the trip a little more smooth and not have to shop for some things. Again the place itself was great. We all had a wonderful time.

Amazing Rental With A Beautiful View

We absolutely loved the unit inside and outside! It was very clean and accommodating! Duck Key is a very beautiful area and the unit has a canal water view in the back yard! However, within a few steps you could see both the Atlantic Ocean and Golf of America with the bridge going over the water! Beautiful view from the upstairs bedroom balcony!!!! We had a couple issues, but Vacasa immediately communicated with us and had their handyman there to fix the toilet and get us a new coffee pot within a short time! We also had an issue with the front lock, but again Vacasa immediately was working with us to get us back in within a reasonable time and even let us wait in another unit until we were able to get in again! We would definitely stay there again and also use Vacasa again to find a rental in the Keys!!!!
