Hotel room was clean and bed was comfortable, which was perfect for an overnight stay. Although it was a bit strange having a shower/sink in the bedroom right next to the bed. Continental breakfast provided good selection. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great for the Co-Op that’s about all…

Check-in was really good, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was great for the Co-Op live arena, there’s a tram stop just across the street or it’s around a 25 minute walk. The city centre was about 20 mins walk Victoria Station around 30 mins walk The Room……. The bed was so uncomfortable, the bathroom looked like a care home. It was clean enough but not great, i suppose for 1 night if you’re not spending much time in there it’s ok. There’s no fridge but was a hairdryer and hangers Ladies and gents, there was no mirror other than the bathroom, so if you’re going for a night out getting ready wasnt great, the lighting was terrible, maybe we were unlucky the other rooms could be better. The lifts are pretty rickety…… I had booked for another gig but I’ll be cancelling and will probably stay in the hotel over the road.

Nice hotel, convenient for Co-Op Live, but there's nothing much in the Pollard Street area, you'll have to head into town for any decent eateries.

Fine for one night.

Reception was excellent. Room was small with an awkward bunk bed over the double which limited headroom. Bedding was clean and comfortable. We hired a tea tray for £3.50, good value. Breakfast was ok. WiFi was very good. Good position for concerts with only a 30 minute walk to Coop Live .
