Water tank was messed up, place smelled like sewage. Water got COMPLETELY SHUT OFF so they could repair, couldn’t shower before checkout. No temperature adjustment in rooms. Paid for late checkout only to be woken up by staff calling the room. Horrid, will never stay here again.

I arrived in the early hours after a delayed flight. On arrival met by the reception and given room 305. A good size room with a double bed. Unfortunately the mattress was rock hard but I managed to sleep ok. This morning I made a drink and went back to sit on the bed & doing so scraped my left leg all the way down a sharp screw sticking out of the bed. Luckily it was just a scrape as a cut would have caused big problems due to blood thinners I take. I then put the shower on making sure the shower head was pointing inside the shower curtain and immediately saw a big pool of water coming out from under the bath panel. I was unable to have a shower so just washed my hair and got ready to leave the hotel. I did notice that the bathroom walls were not tiled or protected from water. I did report all this to the receptionist when o handed the key card over.

I made my best choice to choose this hotel, I only paid £50 per night for this hotel, but it worth every penny. The room is clean and nice, additionally, the breakfast buffet is sooooooo good. The staffs are very friendly as well. Nothing to complain.

Due perhaps to the lack of ventilation in the WC/shower room, the door wouldn't shut properly, and I was loathe to push it lest I inadvertently lock myself in. Otherwise, I suppose that it represented value for money. A convenient location. I didn't sample the breakfast due to my early departure time.

Very conveniently placed. Helpful staff, excellent breakfast.On bottom three stairs, a handrail would be very useful for elderly and disabled persons, if one could be fitted there.

I needed a relatively cheap room Near the station for an overnight stay before my train home- I didn’t arrive till 1am to Manchester Piccadilly- it was pretty near the hotel which is what I wanted as travelling as a female alone - the hotel and rooms are very dated but it was warm and comfortable and served its purpose well -

Room was small, as expected. The internal rooms don't have windows, which is fine - except there is little ventilation, so it's very hot and stuffy in the room (even with a portable fan). Bedsheets and towel were clean/white. However, shower does not drain properly. Walls are very thin - can hear people walking and talking, flushing toilets at all hours. Fire alarm was set off at 4am with no explanation - so did not get much sleep. Some staff friendly, others seem reluctant to help. Would not stay here again. Ever.
