Spring Cabin

This cabin is in a beautiful neighborhood, tucked away near the top of the mountain and in a great location convenient to shops in Maggie Valley and Waynesville. While you can see other cabins around, the area was quiet and it still felt private. The view from the back deck was beautiful. The drive up to the cabin was very easy and was paved with a minimal incline. The cabin was clean, but the outdoor seating area was not and was coated in dust/pollen. The one thing we really disliked about the cabin was the seating. The cabin is decorated to look upscale and almost museum quality, and it is. However, the functionality of the living room and deck furniture is not useful and very uncomfortable. If you have back problems I would not recommend this cabin because of the uncomfortable furniture. It was a struggle to sit comfortably. The kitchen has very high-end appliances and the bathrooms are spa-like. The beds and linens were comfortable and the rooms were tastefully decorated. We did lose power for about an hour due to some construction in the area. Plenty of flashlights are scattered throughout the home in case of an emergency. We had good communication with Eve and she was a pleasure to work with. One oddity was the cabin still had a few decorations up from Christmas during our stay in May. We didn't mind as Christmas is our favorite holiday. Our recommendations are better furniture is needed in this cabin and a TV in the master bedroom would be nice.

Christmas Cabin

The beds and linens were very cozy and comfortable. We all slept very well! The seating in the family room wasn’t as comfy as we would have liked. While there is plenty of seating, it wasn’t the type you curl up in to read a book. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to the home and there was a Christmas tree up! Loved that extra homey touch. The home had almost all of the basics we needed which made settling in easier. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Beautiful home and hosts!

We went for a 3 day spring break with our son and had a wonderful time! The home is nestled in the mountains overlooking Maggie Valley with gorgeous views. It has everything you may want including a hot tub. Host Eve was most gracious and thoughtful. We even had the option of getting to and back from the airport. Felt refreshed when we came back. Would highly recommend .. 5 stars!
