My Stay

I loved it! It’s beautiful! It was very clean. No dust, dirt or bugs. Accurate description of the cabin including the directions to get too it. Follow the directions!! Very quiet and secluded-loved it! The hot tub was awesome. We were two old ladies/friends just wanting to be where we could relax and be kinda close to other places to go and have fun. My heart melted when we saw the creek was called Jonathan’s Creek. My son’s name is Jonathan and he passed 10 years ago. It was meant for me to stay at Mountain Music. Melissa was very responsive. Very easy check in and check out. I give Mountain Music and Melissa 5 out of 5 stars!! I had a blast!!

mountain paradise

My husband and I had originally planned to stay 6 nights. As soon as we saw the property we added 2 more nights (thankful they were available)! It is a perfect mountain retreat! The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and very pretty. We like to cook and we had everything we needed. Love the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area so much we are hoping to retire there soon. The cabin is located in the upper elevation from the town of Maggie Valley. On the original day we had planned to leave we got a surprise snowfall! So happy we stayed longer! The first day we had purchased a half load of firewood and we pretty much used it up! On the snow day we spent the whole day at the cabin. We played in the snow and just enjoyed the beauty of it from the wonderful big picture windows. Sat by the fire, listened to Christmas music and read some books (the owners have a great personal library). It’s an short drive to go back down to Maggie Valley and Waynesville. We were in a Jeep ( 4WD) which was a good thing given the weather and the “mountain car wash” you need to drive through (creek) on the way up. There is another route to take to get there if you don’t have 4WD so no worries. The sound of the creek and the views were amazing. The cabin is spacious and exceptionally clean. The upstairs bedroom was just as pretty as the downstairs bedroom so two couples could easily share the cabin with privacy for both. We would absolutely rent this cabin again and probably invite friends. Hated to leave!

Cabin

Cabin was beautiful, clean and tucked away. The only issues we had was road leading into cabin we were on motorcycles and road was very rough with Ruts and large gravel. Should list that to warn others motorcyclists. We had a wonderful stay!

Cozy home in beautiful natural setting.

This property is in a beautiful wooded location with a stream flowing alongside. Inside, the home was clean, well furnished. Very comfortable! The mountain car wash, bumpy gravel road and steep driveway were part of the adventure for us city slickers. The only downside is no covered outdoor area for the hot tub.

Loved the house! As well as the streams!

Everyone at Premier Vacation Rentals were so nice. Have used them before and we enjoyed our vacation this time as they were in the past. Always ask what we are looking for and it’s been great!

Needs at the Cabin

You should have an electric battery Blower so the Guests can clean the entire decking. So much debris when we got there it took me 20 Minutes to sweep the decking. Especially this time of year. I had to clean the dirty rusty grill in order to cookout. You need a new Hot tub lid. It is water logged and my wife could not lift it herself. She is 66. We had that exact lid on our tub and had to replace it when it got waterlogged. You actually need to repair the hot tub as well. very few jets worked and very little power at best, Actually the jets were worthless. I think you need new Jet pumps. Also no dry firewood at all. Invest in a log holder with a cover available. It rained all week yet we could of had a fire if you had some dry firewood. Other than that the places ;ocation is awesome. Bull elk first morning in our driveway. Later the next day was a female elk.

Great holiday getaway

Just as pictured and expected. Beautiful, peaceful cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub daily while listening to the creek, cabin had everything we needed aside from thing listed in the description like paper good, don't forget to arrive with TP. Kitchen even had many extras to make Christmas cooking a breeze. Loved the large windows to let in natural light. Close enough to town to enjoy the area but also super close to the Blue Ridge Parkway to enjoy the views and ride. Will definitely be back to enjoy this cabin during summer time weather too.

Relaxing Vacation

We stayed five nights. We loved the privacy of the cabin. The sound of the creeks rushing waters was so relaxing. The road into the cabin had a lot to be desired. Very bumpy. We took our motorcycle with us and was almost impossible to get up and down the road. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything you need. The king size bed was great. We loved spending time in the hot tub. So relaxing. Beautiful cabin and beautiful surroundings.

Overall the cabin was very nice, communication with property management company was not very prompt but not terrible. Also if you have a low car do not attempt to drive through the creek it will damage your car! Take the longer route. Cabin was very clean!

Tucked away cabin

We could tell this cabin was much loved by very special owners, and we were very thankful to be there for our Thanksgiving vacation. The home is well-appointed and there was not a thing missing that we "needed", even to serve a big dinner for 6. The property is delightful and the biggest hit was the fire pit. Bring your own wood or pick some up at the hardware store down the valley. Be sure to have 4-wheel drive vehicle if there is a chance of sleet-snow...but this is a great place to "get snowed in". Enjoyed it! Mary T
