Family Getaway

My sister and our husbands spent the week here. While the husbands fished we kept busy exploring the area. We enjoyed the beach, farmer’s market, and local restaurants. We also took advantage of being 3.5 hours from Niagara Falls and went there for the day. The guys enjoyed their lake time, the dock and lift for the boat and caught lots of fish. House was great! We had everything we needed. Clean and homey!! Owners were really nice!

Summertime getaway

My Husband and friends have been doing a summer vacation now for the past eight years we pick different locations to try out. This location was perfect very clean. Alan was very accommodating. The water was beautiful. The weather was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

Fishing trip with some friends

The property is in a fantastic location, close to the boat launch, as well as restaurants and stores. Having two boat lifts is awesome, as we had some strong storms come in from the south and our boats stayed safe during the waves. It was near record heat during our stay, and having a swim ladder at the dock made it easy to cool off and enjoy the clear waters of the lake. Having A/C in all the bedrooms and the living areas made the time we spent indoors as enjoyable as all the time we spent outdoors.We are already making plans to return again. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Perfect for us

This was our first trip to Saint Claire for fishing. With a boat ramp less than a mile away, the boat lift and slip made access to the north end of the lake a breeze. Beautiful sunsets off the back, crystal clear to bright blue water, great air quality, just a surreal small town feel typical of Michigan. Fishing was excellent, just overall a perfect place for our trip.

Fishing heaven

Clean, well appointed and a perfect location. The Host was top notch and very helpful. If you want to fish St Clair this is the perfect spot. Two covered boat slips, DNR launch right down the road, fuel on the water 1/2 mile away. We had a great stay!

Pure Michigan

Al’s Lake House is the definition of a Michigan Lake House. It is situated right on the lake with amazing water views. The house is extremely well stocked, clean and cared for. We did not want for anything. Towels, Mugs, Silverware, you name it. There is not a shortage of anything. The surrounding neighbors are wonderful and friendly. The house is situated between many great towns so please review their calendars and events. This summer offered many festivals and opportunities to enjoy live music outside. Great little restaurants and diners all around you, you will not go hungry! Book your trip today and enjoy!
