Property UNDER CONSTRUCTION - NO ELEVATORS! We had stayed here once before, and decided to bring my older parents for a three night stay. There are no working elevators, and my dad was not able to get up and down the steps and hauling all of our luggage was not the easiest. When we got to the rooms, there were empty wine and champagne bottles outside our doors inside the room. The beds were not made up very nice and it was missing the coffee pots and coffee cups. I stopped and asked the housekeeping and she said that they were very low on coffee, pods and coffee cups in the shower the shampoo and conditioner and body wash. We’re all empty And we were told that we would have bath robes and slippers inside our room for the spa and we did not have any of them so we finally went to go get robes and slippers, but they were out of all men’s slippers and sizes. When you offer a physical therapy pool for people that have mobility issues you need to let them know if the elevators in the hotel are not working having no elevators is unacceptable for a spa with five flights upstairs to use the facilities.

Thermae 2000 is a beautiful spa and the hotel is lovely. The room was large with a patio with chairs so we could sit outside. Unfortunately there was a problem the night we were there with a smoke alarm that continued to go off and was quite disruptive. Also, one warning to older guests. The shower was in a tub with a very high step and no bar so you really have to be careful not to fall.

This place was great! Great price, great breakfast and friendly staff. Able to use the facility all day after checking out, baggage storage at the hotel. Can't believe anyone would leave a negative review of this place! Food was also good and with normal prices. Highly recommended!

Awful stay at the Thermae 2000 Hotel.

Avoid this hotel. The hotel is very well situated however the service was not up to par- in fact it was in general quite awful. First, at 259 euros a night you would expect that - at a minimum- that complimentary slippers would be supplied. Not the case. One has to purchase them at the information desk for 6 euros a piece- if one's size is still available of course. Not the case for me or my girlfriend unfortunately. it would seem as a negligible point but it isn't. A four star hotel needs to rise to the occasion. Not the case in regards to providing massages when its suitable for guests.The massages are a bit pricey for what you get and the staff is not very accommodating in trying to satisfy your wishes. One could get the impression that they couldn't care less whether you get your massage or not. Also there seems to be a problem liaising between the front desk and the reservation (information) counter at the sauna level. This disconnect means that a massage that you've cancelled might find itself on your bill as was the case for me. So please keep an eye open. Rudeness on the part of hotel employees is also problematic. My girlfriend and I were approached by a hotel employee with a rude demeanor who asked us not to take selfies in the pool area- there was no "pardon me"- or "excuse me"- just a rude woman going about her designated tasks. Finally, the hotel is very austere and there's definitely nothing fancy about it. Breakfast was lackluster and poor. Not worth it.

Die Unterkunft insgesamt war in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, wenn auch nichts Besonderes. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das Personal – alle waren durchweg sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, was den Aufenthalt definitiv angenehmer gemacht hat. Der Wellnessbereich hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen. Die Saunen und die gesamte Anlage sind schön gestaltet und laden eigentlich zum Entspannen ein. Allerdings gibt es hier einen großen Kritikpunkt: Der Saunabereich darf ausschließlich komplett nackt genutzt werden. Selbst mit Badebekleidung, wie z. B. Badeshorts, ist der Zutritt nicht erlaubt – auch dann nicht, wenn man sich zusätzlich mit einem Handtuch bedeckt. Gerade bei dem Preisniveau der Unterkunft empfinden wir diese Regelung als sehr unflexibel und unangenehm. Für uns persönlich ein absolutes No-Go, da man sich dadurch eher unwohl als entspannt fühlt. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt sind die zusätzlichen Kosten: Für Hotelgäste fallen Parkgebühren in Höhe von 15 € pro Tag an, was wir als recht hoch empfinden. Auch das gastronomische Angebot konnte uns nicht überzeugen. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist eher begrenzt und die Preise sind im Vergleich dazu deutlich zu hoch. Die Lage in der Nähe des Nationalparks ist hingegen ein Pluspunkt und eignet sich gut für Ausflüge in die Natur. Insgesamt ein Aufenthalt mit Licht und Schatten.
