Greeted well, room well appointed and clean, breakfast great, housekeeping needs improvement: maid failed to replace washcloths and trash not removed one day, bed lumpy, Manager states he would address all issues.

This hotel is right next to 81 and the noise level is horrible..they even supplied ear plugs which did not help..if you want to sleep go to a different hotel.

My MAIN concern was some of the hotel rooms are located right next to a highway. I unfortunately was in one of those rooms. For the 2 nights I stayed there I had NO sleep after driving 3 hours on the road to get there and driving tired for 3 hours to go back. The hotel staff though polite were unable to change my room and offered a "sound machine" which literally sounded like sleeping next to the AC. Paid the same rate as people able to sleep in their quite rooms on the other side of the hotel. No compensation offered.

The beds had food crumbs in it. The pillows smelled moldy. The water pressure was horrible. We will be visiting Woodstock alot and will never use this hotel again.

Front counter

Pros: Room was great!!!
Cons: See above.
The best thing I can say about the young lady at the front counter was the she was disinterested and really didn't give a darn if I stayed at the Hampton or not. I asked, what I thought, was a simple question about the bill and she looked at me like I had 3 eyes. Also something needs to be done about the pool deck. The wrong material was use, it's way to slippery, almost busted my behind several times. Heard may others complaining about the same.
